No.
Frankly I have 0 idea where you can even find a .22 pistol at that price these days.
You want a stupid cheap handgun? Go get a police trade in. That will be a gun worth shooting and worth keeping for around $300-$400
Sportsmans outdoors has a nice selection right now
Range toy at bestWhat do you guys think about cheapo 1911s I know rock island is the best in a budget but I was looking at the tisas tanker model. My understanding is if you stick with 45acp there shouldn't be any issues since the 1911 was designed for a semi rimmed cartridge
Rock Island functions. Tisas Is OK. Springfield gets their incomplete frames from Tisas but quality is generally considered a step up and I think they're a good baseline for "average". Do not buy Kimber. What do you guys think about cheapo 1911s I know rock island is the best in a budget but I was looking at the tisas tanker model. I know tisas is turk shit but I know the 1911 Is a pretty simple design sorta so I figured maybe they'd at least run ok as long as you stick with what it was designed forRock Island functions. I wish. If an enterprising fellow combined the improvements of the Hi-Power's frame and the barrel lockup of the Glock while keeping the 1911's appearance I would buy it in a heartbeat.the 1911 Is a pretty simple design sorta
Doesn't really matter, the only changes between calibers are the size of the ejector, extractor, firing pin, and the slide's breechface. The receiver is the same regardless.maybe they'd at least run ok as long as you stick with what it was designed for
IIRC, that gun was made to kill guard dogs that the Afghans would put around their hideouts as a early warning system.I think I might have stumbled upon the original photo that inspired all the Ruger Standard/NT-4 builds I've disproportionately seen over the years.
Biggest gripe i have with using shotguns as drone defense is their shitty range.
10 gauge will get you to 60 yards with the right loads. recoil is no worse than 12 gauge 3 1/2 inch loads. Why are suppressors so expensive in america?
Here theyre pretty damn cheap.

That could be remedied by using tungsten ammo however, but theyre fucking expensive.
Even then you just might be in the shrapel range, theres a few videos where a zigger managed to shoot an FPV, which blows up, peppering the shooter with shrapnel as could be seen from the impacts on the ground.
Because there's a mandatory $200 tax and a bunch of other bullshit because nearly 100 years ago they decided to make them part of the NFA and despite popular myth about "poaching during the Great depression" and other such reasons at the time, the fact is silencers were never talked about in proceedings as to why they were added to this gun control bill. That said it's not just the $200 tax. Despite the NFA companies are pushing the boundaries of silencer development with sophisticated 3d printing making some genuinely worth the price. There are a lot of good ones for $500 too. And before you get on me about saying silencer and not suppressor, talk to Maxim. At the time of the bill they were called silencersWhy are suppressors so expensive in america?

“Erm, it’s only a silencer if it was grown in the SilencerCo valley. Otherwise what you have is a sparkling suppressor.”Because there's a mandatory $200 tax and a bunch of other bullshit because nearly 100 years ago they decided to make them part of the NFA and despite popular myth about "poaching during the Great depression" and other such reasons at the time, the fact is silencers were never talked about in proceedings as to why they were added to this gun control bill. The only places I've seen Kimbers sold are Walmart so I had assumed they were low-quality mass-manufactured cheapos, but apparently the USMC utilized the "Kimber Desert Warrior" at some point during the GWOT? Can anybody speak to that and the quality of that particular model?Kimbers are supposed to be good and you can get one for a lot less than 2500 made by actual americans
appropriately parameterized gunbroker search: https://www.gunbroker.com/Semi-Auto-Pistols/search?PageSize=24&Sort=13&View=1&Ch-manufacturerName=Kimber&Ch-Caliber=.45 ACP
Ours are required to be registered so they're intended to last as long as physically possible. Can't just go to the sporting goods store and walk out with one the same day.Why are suppressors so expensive in america?

If you want effective to the point of boredom, Glock 17. It's so boring that it's the easiest answer."I just want something that's quality and generally mil-spec that functions in harsh extreme cold conditions and functions well with very easily replaceable parts".

I feel like I'm in the minority when I say Beretta coating the controls in polymer is a good idea. It might mess with the stainless look on the new Inox but high-contact surfaces being treated like that is a novel concept.A well oiled beretta is a happy beretta.
1000 rounds through the gts, I'm gonna say it. The frame decocker is much nicer then on the slide. Other then that, it's a 92 with nicer sights and a skeltonized hammer out of the box. Very happy with it.
Glock 21.Sorry, but nothing less than a .45's gonna suffice.
I have a Kimber ultra carry II that I purchased in the 90's and it has been super reliable. it was my carry gun for some time. I would trust it with my life and .45 is a fun round. The only places I've seen Kimbers sold are Walmart so I had assumed they were low-quality mass-manufactured cheapos, but apparently the USMC utilized the "Kimber Desert Warrior" at some point during the GWOT? I'm starting to veer away from the whole youth mentality of "I'm gonna make my guns super-customized and unique and easily identifiable and badass looking" and instead more towards the lines of "I just want something that's quality and generally mil-spec that functions in harsh extreme cold conditions and functions well with very easily replaceable parts".
