LolWHAT? Like, you put an ad in the paper that says "I want to carry guns for my safety, so here's my name and address "? Is this a recent thing? I always thought Delaware was kinda okay all things considered, what with no mag limits, no AWB, CCW reciprocity, and based tax laws.

When I was in the market for a shotgun last year, I noticed a new one that was made in China. I thought Chinese firearms were banned from import? Or is that just Norinco?

I have a JW 2000, i think century is doing something with them? I don't know. I do know the shotgun sucks ass and was covered in some sort of grey mystery grease when bought new. The shells get stuck all the time, and some people have the hammer/trigger mechanism completely fail. I haven't had any major mechanical issues but I haven't shot much of it.

I bought a Turkish UTS-15 solely for aesthetics and the novelty of having 15 rounds going through an alternating feed mechanism. Bought it at an insanely low price brand new - right now it's a paperweight. Very cheaply made (Also missing the spring assisted pump) and refuses to go into battery. My expectations were extremely low but I at least expected it to fire. Maybe after warranty work it'll be somewhat functioning, but who knows? All the other Turkish AR-pattern shotguns are dogshit and are the equivalent to Chinese tech or clothing brands on Amazon - cheap, all use the exact same designs, and may or may not fall apart in 2 months.

I don't have a Benelli M4 but I do have a Benelli M3 and it's an absolute beast. Cycles fine with 1300 FPS ammo and up in semi auto, but for low recoil loads I can just twist the collar and switch it to pump mode. M4 is kinda cool but I think it's overpriced and an M2 would fill the same need for most shooters, though it is Inertia vs gas. Just be prepared to deal with the bullshit 922r compliance if you want to extend capacity past 5 rounds

The import ban on firearms and ammunition is on Norinco itself.

The 90s import ban initially banned just rifles, pistols, and ammunition; sporting shotguns and shotgun shells were still still allowed. In 2003 Bush signed an EO banning any firearms or ammo from Norinco. (I actually own a Winchester 1897 trench clone. It's a pretty shameless clone too with fake military proofs and a fake flaming bomb stamp:lol:.)

An arms manufacturer in China would be legal to import from (pending permits and stuff obviously) as long as is isn't Norinco, but Norinco is basically the state owned monopoly which all arms factories and arsenals are owned by so it's not easy to get around that.

This is why the shotguns you see these days are manufactured by automotive factories that Norinco totally, honest to God, pinky swear definitely doesn't run.

I 100% agree - there's a reason my 922r compliant parts are all "Armstrong Sourced" custom parts. But we're also dealing with a government that is pushing red flag laws that will absolutely get abused, so it helps to know how to defend yourself against ATF fuckery.

IIRC the only people ever slapped with a 922r violation have been IO for their AKs, but I may be misremembering.

My AK is the only firearm I own that I deliberately want to look more beat up than it actually is. It seems to be a thing with AK owners in general.

I am of the belief that it's just done so US companies can sell you "compliant" parts at an insane markup. Most people become compliant when they do normal shit like replace the follower and stock anyways, but there people that try to put the fear of god in you by saying you're going to lose all your guns unless you make your gun compliant. The same people also happen to run store fronts where they will gladly sell you a compliant trigger kit for $365.

Even if the stars aligned and ATF came knocking to check your gun the internals aren't stamped and there's no way to tell if your hammer, trigger, disconnect, follower, etc. are stock or aftermarket. And if it's really a concern just write "US" on it with a sharpie. Still a bullshit law that's a headache from all the shit you mentioned.
 
I see we're posting our P-07s. I just picked this one up today.

One of the other guns I got alongside it was PSA's dagger G19 gen 3 clone with the threaded barrel + raised sights and optics cut. I'm now basically being forced to put aside some money and start shopping for a can. It's out of my hands.

My Mossberg SA-20 is a Turkish semi auto shotgun. 20 guage made by the same conglomerate that makes Canik and TriStar aka the 2 GOOD Turkish firearm brands.

Below them you have SAR and another one I can't pronounce (Sarizlam or something similar)

Oh and for a pump/semi auto shotgun, SPAS-12 all day everyday. I'm still pissed Franchi stopped making them. Fuck, now they're $2k+. The Turks need to hurry up and clone it.

1. ALG trigger is like $115. 2. Just punch a C into every part so it looks like Century made it compliant.

As far as I know it has always been like that up until now. It makes NJ look friendly to 2A.
