^ Still banned my neezy, can't sell it in WA
Absolute fucking bonkers. These niggers truly are double niggers.

On the conversion kit language, I noticed that Aero precision was still selling individual parts even after the law passed, so I think people are confident that individual parts won't stand scrutiny for a ban based conversion kit language, and they are only selling completely stripped lowers in WA specifically now based on the email I got yesterday.

I'd bet complete uppers definitely will qualify as "conversion kits" though.

You know what would really help with arms trafficking?

A well secured border, maybe even one with a big honking wall or fence of some kind.

I have a better idea: find the people who hire illegals and nail them to a cross. Having the CEO of Home Depot hanging for 3 days would stop the cheap labor influx real fucking quick.

Out of curiosity, what exactly is stopping a U.S. firearms company from making KS-23s/TOZ-123s and it’s 23x75mmR ammunition? They are such cool guns that I think people will buy them.
It'll cost a bunch to set up the tooling and there isn't enough demand to offset the costs.

Anyone got any opinions on the Ruger Max 9? My friends thinking about picking one up as his first conceal carry gun.
I dont know if this is still relevant but I think the Max 9 is good to go. It was a toss up between that and the M&P Shield Plus when i finally got over my boomerism and let myself get a polymer striker fired little pocket pistol. Max 9s had QC issues when they first released, but it's been a few years and even if it wasn't sorted out (I dont hear much about it anymore which I think is a good sign) you'd just have to send it in. Ruger's customer service is solid.
The only reason I went with the Shield Plus over the Max 9 was because at the time i was able to find more reviews backing it up and I wanted to play it safe. But at this point, the Max 9 just stands alongside the rest of the rest of the pocket 9s. I hope he has an opportunity to get hands on, but it's been around long enough without really making a name for itself in the wrong way that I'd trust it. You hear shit constantly about the Sigs and they do ok, for some reason.

Then you think wrong, unless you could magically make the guns very cheap, and get ammunition production going, which itself will have to be not too expensive. At most it'll be an expensive deluxe thing like those $10000 repro Luger pistols in 10mm Auto.

Seems to me that people don't realize that these 80+ year old guns they want repros of would be 10x the cost of an original.
The reason those moist nuggets were $50 when they hit the market was because 6 gorrillan were made, Sat in a wearhouse for 50 some odd years then imported in mass and dumped on the market.
Nobody wanted them except broke college students and the poor.
Now that the supply is basically gone suddenly they are the rarez and worth $500.
To properly repo that rifle would at minimum be $1000, probably more.
Problem is it's still a garbage rod, but now it's just new with no history or character.
No thanks.

Being drafted I'm sure and at least one case is back up to the circuit courts from Cali in this post Bruen environment. The crossover if it gets ruled in favor of the gun rights peeps will have massive effects on WA as they're in 9th district too.

The 9th circuit, when called to make "en banc" decisions before Bruen, has ruled like 50 out of 50 times against the 2A.

Can't wait for the ballistic zombie torso video.

ETA: In other news out of Kentucky, ATF smacked down by 6th Circuit. Bump stocks may be back on the menu for people with more ammo than sense.

Well, there was that one guy who recreated one, it's a 4 gauge I think but still, pretty good analogue of it. I for one would like one as I'm into .ru firearms myself.

Remember how I asked about helmets a while back? That and safety glasses probably would have stopped the worst of this lulz worthy event
So would standing further back, but most people who play with tannerite are retards with no respect for what it will do.

If you're desperate for a LRBHO but don't want to give up that delicious roller-delayed blowback, you could drop a Lingle Industries or A3 Tactical Scorpion magazine lower onto a Stribog SP9A3 for cheaper magazines, no recoil, actual integrated picatinny rails, a reachable safety and probably still be well under the price of an actual HK even with all the bells and whistles to go with it.
I recall hearing some not so nice things about the Stribog, anyone here have any experience with one?
Also I'd want something very close to the MP5 (or G3/CETME) aesthetic.

Oh right, that's the one GarandThumb showed I think. Looks the part, and it's a cool as hell gun which I'd love to have myself, but you're still gonna have to look at low sales numbers, akin to how most people have no use for a Barrett, so most people who buy them do so because they think it's cool and they can afford to spend on a luxury like that.

It wouldn't be as expensive as those custom Lugers, but you're gonna be way north of $1000 at the least, and handloading is the only option. Speaking of which, those shells look stupidly thickwalled, I can't imagine they obturate very nicely, if I was gonna put down all the money and effort on a monster shotgun like that (and lord knows I'd want to), I'd want a better solution for shells.
If it was gonna be made in the US though, you might as well start an all new design and make it a giant 4-Gauge lever-action shotgun, to make it more American.

Christ. If he'd have stood just a tiny bit more to the right he'd been fucking trepanated. People don't really think about how these things are bombs, and how they're creating shrapnel for them.

1968 S&W-Mercox dart/needlegun; fires .22 blanks, and intended to even use explosive darts. Only 25 made

Makes me think of the OSS "Bigot," which was a bizarre contraption for converting a 1911A1 into a dart gun.

I personally enjoy the stuff, but people seriously need to not shove that shit into riding mowers or anything that can come apart like crazy. Guy is lucky he only got it in the temple.

@HumptiDouji good luck selling anything in America that isn't yet another AR-15 knockoff. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a Kalashnikov guy but fuck it, we need some variety in the market already. It's the same problem that the film industry has with comic book movies, they don't want to take risks.

The actual problem is that everything else has to compete with the AR-15 and do so at the same price level. It's not that the AR-15 is the end-all-be-all, but it is very good and you can get a perfectly usable one for around $500 and also have access to the most comprehensive aftermarket in the firearms world.
