I originally read this sentence fragment to mean that the default state of an Iraqi policeman is "useless toothbrush" and was very confused.
This reminds me we gave the Iraquis M&P 2.0.s, making them the sole military operator in the military & police branding. Which is kinda sad, the 2.0 is a good gun.

Prototype groza reproduction by "a guy in Eastern Europe" who says that he hopes to put reproduction guns into production next year (this is unstated but I presume with the aid of US based Partners) but it's contained in an archive link because the site just will not allow me to upload the fucking image of it

A guy associated with Sureshot USA recently posted this picture so I assume it's safe to say that the company will be releasing a Chassis for 9mm Vityaz style guns in the relatively near future

Not entirely sure what this is, Pipe shotgun with rather strange pull and release trigger mechanism and no visible way of loading? Your guess is as good as mine
The same or similar arrangement (it is in fact a pipe shotgun, intended for anti-FPV use) on an Obr. 2023 AK-12

I like handling pmags better. They feel better loading, unloaded, inserting into magwel. Plastic doesnt create thag awful metal on metal grinding that metal mags have.

BUT

Metal mags look way drippier.

I hope there aren’t red flag laws in your jurisdiction.
In a perfect world anyone who went postal due to a red flag laws would be instantly filled with lead from a random bloke on the side of the street with a firearm.
Are they a meme? Yes and no. No, in that the popular ones tend to work fairly well. Yes, in that the only people who "need" them are guerrilla/insurgent forces and people who can't pass a background check.
There's also another use for firearms with polymer parts, conversion into a full-auto configuration. Not saying you should do it without a law letter and SOT but it could be done. Glock switches are the common one gangbangers use but P90 (Sear interrupter/FCG) and AUG (Receiver/stock) come to mind as well.
But if you can do that you could probably turn a 3 selector AR FCG from scratch with a lathe from a block of steel.
On accuracy, you're (almost always) not 3d printing a barrel. You may machine your own barrel, either through ECM or turning it on a lathe from a blank, and that will change the overall firearms accuracy,
In China they passed a law some time back where if you buy anything that's barrel grade steel remotely close to a barrel profile was banned without license.
As a matter of fact with the Hamas-Isreal fight I think a Chinese gas cylinder company was listed on the sanctions list for a bit lmao. They were going out of business but Hezbolla/Hama bought shit tons of the cylinders to convert into rockets I think.
Anyone have experience with Telaammo? Im considering buying 7.62x39, .45c a round seems great but "produced in Azerbaijan" has me skeptical. I saw some people complain they are actually corrosive but I usually bathe my AKs anyways.
I miss Vympel, too busy making ammo for the SMO/war I guess in addition to sanctions.

I like metal mags better, but I have tons of both. I have over 200 AR mags
It's a fucking shame Okay shut down their mag production literally because of covid. They started making so much money off medical equipment during that they decided to shutdown mag production and retool it for med stuff. I'm guessing Magpul getting larger and larger shares of gov't contracts didn't help.

Best steel and aluminum mags i've used are Duramag and ASC.
Only steel ones I've ever used were HK. I got them as a predeployment present shortly after they came out and before the feed lip issue showed up. Carried them as my first 4 and always blamed my rifle because it couldn't be the $50 precision made Kraut mags. Sometime after I got back home I saw posts about the issues and two of my mags were fucked. I hate HK with a fiery passion and will never buy one of their products.

I wish I had the luxury of nabbing some HK or even FN mags but they're not available in my local shops and I live in one of those states that caught on about 10 years back you could buy 30 rounders and said waitaminute we need to legislate the fuck out of that so that came to an end but I was lucky enough to score a couple Tapco 30 round Mini-14 mags and they're cool as fuck looking faux bakelite orange AK mag before they went out of business.

while i wasn't too impressed with the HK "high reliability" magazines as they worked fine in my personal experience but the weight was meh and they didn't play nice with tracers. i preferred (and used) mostly Adventure Line and Okay with the magpul follower or the Colt and Sendra's with the dark green follower. the black follower was "okay" but had issues sometimes. i prefer mostly the C-Products Stainless Steel mags these days but still like the Lancers, 2nd gen Magpuls, the magpul "E-Mag", the 1st gen Thermolds (with the maple leaf on it), and the Orlite mags. E-landers and gen 1 magpuls are meh imho. Hex mag too. not impressed with the 2nd Amend mags (shame), and the US made Thermolds were garbage along the same vibe as Promag.

for someone wanting cost reduced mags that are still good, ASC, magpul, and D&H are hard to beat. ETS were kinda fragile imho.
