I have a Finnish 1941 VKT M91 Mosin, SA Marked, Retooled for D166 rounds. CAI ST ALB VT Import stamp
From what I can gather from esoteric ancient gun forums and HTML webpages, it's a captured Russian rifle because they crossed out the distances on the elevations because Russia and Finland used different distance measurements. It also has other markings in obscure places, some I have yet to find catalogued online. I know Mosin markings are a rabbithole akin to reading tea leaves, but I think it's pretty cool. Let me know if you want pics of the other markings on the gun.
Story is my grandfather shipped it home from WW2. Pics below.
The petina/scarring of the stock lends me to believe it saw combat, but I am unsure.
