I can't wait to order my upper, I need to figure out what lower to use. I like the design Hoffman is making and I might go that routeFinished the lower I plan on using for my Lima6 Build,

Sounds like you're being honest with yourself as to how it's going to be used, so as long as you know your dope (and it sounds like you're there), if it works, it isn't stupid.am i retarded for zeroing my .30-06 at 25 yards? +2.4 in at 100 yards and +0.4 at 200 yards. Shots past 200 are not in the equation and the vast majority of deer taken here are at less than 100.
Shooting long range is cool and all but just about the only place with sight lines more than 100 yards around here is along highways. I do know of one place, but its way up in the mountains. Covered up with elk up there so I'd hesitate to target shoot lest i bump them all off into the timber.Sounds like you're being honest with yourself as to how it's going to be used, so as long as you know your dope (and it sounds like you're there), if it works, it isn't stupid.
I really want to get some of those handguards/heatsinks but I'm already paying ~3k to build out my Lima6 and I doubt those are going to be priced for retards like meAll about the Red Right Hand Recce RPD
I wonder if the wire mesh creates more turbulence, or something? maybe they were able to get something better working with newer modeling techniques?I find this strange because I was under the impression that this method was recognized and obsolete by the mid 80's at the latest.

That's some damn nice wood on that one.Did some quick and dirty zeroing today with my SuperGrade Model 70.
I have to wonder why anyone wanted to do thisSuppressed DShK
I don't remember if this is just for the upper (with all the enhancements) or a complete gun but I think quoted pricing for the Recce RPD is $4-5k with a standard Lima Six Upper being $3k with $2k for a build kitreally want to get some of those handguards/heatsinks but I'm already paying ~3k to build out my Lima6 and I doubt those are going to be priced for retards like me
I don't know anything about CNC but they're literally just aluminum round stock with a centrally bored hole, cooling fins and a channel for the gas tube.they don't seem too complicated to machine
Both Hydra Weaponry and a guy by the name of November5 are making (in the case of Hydra) an adapter for their modular lowers (I think someone has already CAD'd up a printed version) or custom lowers with proprietary bolt catch/release mechanisms. There will undoubtedly be more factory options.Yeah, kinda unfortunate the standard metal nutsack AR lowers don't work.
Why not, I've seen hohols suppress the PKT Co-ax MG on a BTR before.I have to wonder why anyone wanted to do this
The "Streamer" series that the baffle stacks belong to are their dedicated low back pressure line. I don't think they're really optimized for the American suppressor market due to the fragility of the mesh and ATF's views on replacement suppressor parts. Then again BOE has managed to somehow not yet get ass raped by offering unrelated monocore replacements so who knows.Maybe not aiming to max quietness but something else with the design?

Winchesters can get some real nice lumber on their guns, but its luck of the draw. That's why i like to buy from sites/sellers that post pics of the actual gun you're buying instead of stock photos. Mine was AAAA grade wood, whatever that means. Wood grades are confusing to me.That's some damn nice wood on that one.
It looks hideous. I'm glad to see one finally being made however. I wonder if they're going for Nylon or if they'll pick something else for heat mitigation like a CNC'd aluminum trunion.Unnamed WIP DIY belt fed being developed as a collaborative effort from several developers from the Black Lotus Coalition. 5.56 and uses an AR barrel
Bullpup FN-49
It's a similar situation to 32 magnum, which is a good revolver cartridge for weaker shooters, but has seen very little interest in the market, because most people would either step it up to 38 special, or step it down to rimfire.
Speculation online is that this is going to result in FN replacing it with the IWS or the Version they cooked up for MRGG contract, or maybe a completely different thing. Maybe they'll just stick to AR's for the civilian market.

Sadly it comes and goes in popularity. And .32 H&R Magnum is the ideal cartridge for the J frame sized revolvers. You get an extra round and it's perfectly capable of matching .38 special muzzle energy.
Yep.The SCAR is an answer looking for a question IMO.
Plus the Robinson XCR exists, PWS AR uppers exist the BREN 2 and 3 exist....The SCAR is one of those guns where I want it but don't want to spend that kind of money on it. I'd rather drop the 3k on a FS2000 and even then I'd struggle pulling my card out for it
Steal of a deal right there. For $400 I'd have snagged that Vz as well. Always wanted a Mauser style but even Turkshit goes for more than it's worth lately. My best luck so far was getting a No. I Mk III Lee for $325 back in 2023. Furniture was cracked and it's Indian but whatever. At least the Brits were there to ensure the QC.two Mausers, a semi bubba-ed M84 and a nice Czech Vz.24..... both for $400.
They're worth it for their PPS43 builds. Those are typically quite affordable, and fun larp guns. Can be modified with some welding to add the folding stock back if you wish. Can't speak to their PA63 builds I wonder if they licensed the design by proteus armamentsPioneer have QC/durability issue
I find it hard to believe that price is justified really, especially since the price point is around the same as their ARs. I suppose its just an economy of scale issue, but even then 2k on a rifle is ridiculous for what it is.The SCAR's construction is inherently very cheap to make with modern methods. extruded aluminum upper, polymer lower. = cheap to make en masse. now, that doesn't jive with the civilian mind because when you drop 2 or 3k on just the rifle and it feels as cheap as your M&P 15 it just doesn't feel right.
