You can also go buy a Galil today and not have to mortgage your house.I mean, technically. However, you really can't see the Kalashnikov lineage in the 550 family of rifles. However, when you look at the Galil or Valmet rifles, you can absolutely see they are based on the Kalashnikov action. Now given the choice between something like the 551 or 552, a Galil, or an RK-95, damn skippy I'm taking the SIG (so long as it's Swiss made).
It’s mostly the stalker larp I feel. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s also an underlining of hating the US and don’t want to use the icky AR15 because it’s too right wing coded. I do believe Karl or someone around InRangeTV complained about this being the case for leftists.I personally don't understand the appeal of most Russian weapons. It could be my experience years back building semi-auto AKs has soured my view of Russian weapons and made me biased, but I just don't really get it. Like, I can see the appeal of the Pecheneg and bullpup PKM, the SVU, the AN-94, and some of the Russian SMGs. And some of their latest stuff is kind of interesting, especially the ones where they've tried to move away from just iterating on old Soviet designs. But most of their other individual weapons just aren't interesting to me, especially Kalashnikov rifles and Makarov pistols, and I just can't feature why so many people go ga-ga over them. I'd much rather have Western weapons.
Part of it is boomers treating kalashnikovs with weird kid gloves like they do everything else that is an established thing that also rubs against their programming. They're the macintoshes of the gun world.I personally don't understand the appeal of most Russian weapons. Stalker chads know that nato guns are superior (except for 9x39, a round so powerful that even fmj will magically cut through plates like butter)It’s mostly the stalker larp I feel.
Odds are its shillbidding. I don't even bother with GB unless it has a buy now option. What are you trying to get?Keep getting wildly out bid on Citoris on gunbroker. Might just take some Xmas bonus and buy a new one.
Yep. I played the bidding war twice on that site. It's just chasing the dragon. Still haven't used the buy now on any guns because they're always way over market value.unless it has a buy now option
Yeah. I've never bought any guns on the site. I used to buy parts kits on there before covid. The last thing I bought from GB was an AMD-65 kit back in 2020 that was hard to find because the lister misspelled it. Type in "parts kit" now and its fucking awful. Niggas are so lazy they just relist parts kits with the image from the site they're trying to flip it from. I swear to G dash d, Arms of America will get in kits and then some faggot will immediately relist the kit +$100 MSRP with THE EXACT thumbnail.Yep. I played the bidding war twice on that site. It's just chasing the dragon. Still haven't used the buy now on any guns because they're always way over market value.
They're outstanding although I'd say save a bit more and get a 1301 (I have the Pro version with the electric blue finish and it's amazing)Eyeing a Beretta A300 ultima sporting or any other similarly priced semi auto target gun, anyone have experience with them? Sick of running a 32inch pump action for trap. It's long, heavy and by the 250th trigger pull is another CTE. Tried someone's semi that also had a mercury capsule installed in the stock (could be boomer magic idk) and it felt so soft. Seeing new ones as low as $700.
Exactly. IWI sells Galils all day. SIG Switzerland.... Doesn't sell Jack shit to the USA anymore. You can also go buy a Galil today and not have to mortgage your house.
It's an excellent PP/PPK clone in a round that's at the limit of a steel blowback gun's ability to handle. At the limit so it's fun, not at the limit so it's painful. But the makarov? I got no clue, man. Complete mystery to me too.
Looking to find a used clays gun for 1k or less. Got a 34" barrel turkish pump I use now and I kinda hate it. Semi, OU anything other than this piece of crap. Might be silly but it's stopping me from going to the trap club with how much I hate the pump.Odds are its shillbidding. I don't even bother with GB unless it has a buy now option. Good luck. I overpayed for a field model Miroku O/U.Looking to find a used clays gun for 1k or less. Got a 34" barrel turkish pump I use now and I kinda hate it. check on guns international and cabelas used. I don't EVER buy from gunboomer. I do sell there though because they always overpay.Keep getting wildly out bid on Citoris on gunbroker. Might just take some Xmas bonus and buy a new one.
For direct blowback handgun, they're actually not bad to shoot. Pretty much zero felt recoil, though I did swap the original spring with a heavier one when I bought mine way back in the day. Now they're just not worth it because you'll spend way more getting 9x18 than if you just had a normal 9mm that can eat the cheapest 115g for a range day.and I imagine quite uncomfortable to use
Did he fucking stutter?
I was referring more to the skeleton / wire stock AK's lol. I'm sure the Makarov is fine. But I don't see how having jagged metal dig into your arm as a stock without any kind of padding would be comfy. For direct blowback handgun

Tokarevs are cool but they're terrible guns, they're like slavic nigger 1911s. But the makarov? I got no clue, man. Complete mystery to me too.
This is the caliber of Russian weaponry (and 9x21mm) I would be interested in because all those weapons don’t have good western equivalents. Yeah there .458 SOCOM but it’s just another AR conversion, yawn.Stalker chads know that nato guns are superior (except for 9x39, a round so powerful that even fmj will magically cut through plates like butter)
People can like certain guns for tons of reason some of them practical others stupid.
