Get one in 6.5 PRC. It sounds as if it's what Christensen Arms MPR is supposed to be (never buy anything from Christensen Arms).Or, wait a bit for a Seekins Precision HIT Pro M3 6.5 24 inch

I'd go with the Ruger Precision, with one caveat: if you're not shooting long-range (past 500 meters) often, go with the .308 version. The agony of gin choice haunts me yet again.
6.5 creedmore, folding stock, ~22-24 inch barrel, good Customer service
Options: Ruger Precision rifle (out the Door $1450)
Shot one before, liked it. Gen 4 is better, ARCA rail, mlok, better stock.
Or, wait a bit for a Seekins Precision HIT Pro M3 6.5 24 inch
$800 more but it's extremely nice with even better CS than Ruger and a Trigger tech diamond installed from factory.
Both fold for storage/transport, look cool (most important thing) and I'd be happy installing a bipod and my Burris XTR Pro 5.5-30 and blasting steel and paper immediately.

It sounds like the Ruger is your "settle" option and you actually want the Seekins. What ranges are you planning to shoot, though? After a certain amount there's no sense in throwing more money at a sub-500 yard gun, people have spent less on improving bare-bones Remingtons and Savage rifles to perform at ~1,000.Ruger Precision rifle (out the Door $1450)

Dude we have better gunlaws than a good chunk of the United States, Mexico doesn't come anywhere near close to us.I mean you guys have less strict gun laws than Mexico
They're not *as* horrendously priced but still much higher than what they are in America, thankfully there are a lot of older used Colts which are high quality and relatively cheap though you may have to do some work on the timing.are tauruses reasonably priced in argentina since brazil is right there or is there a bunch of political bullshit? the semi autos are of questionable repute but the revolvers are great for the price
That is true, Some of the shithole states have implemented military style weapons bans and magazine restrictions to only 10 rounds. I imagine you can get an AR and 30+ round magazines in Argentina.Dude we have better gunlaws than a good chunk of the United States, Mexico doesn't come anywhere near close to us.

You can get gin for far cheaper if you shop around at the liquor store. The agony of gin choice haunts me yet again.

Technically it’s not a mag ban just a purchase ban and annoyance. I don’t suggest going out of some the ban states to pick up new mags as I’d never suggest breaking the law. That is true, Some of the shithole states have implemented military style weapons bans and magazine restrictions to only 10 rounds. Agreed about never giving Christensen arms money.Get one in 6.5 PRC. It sounds as if it's what Christensen Arms MPR is supposed to be (never buy anything from Christensen Arms).
1300 yards is as long as my local place goes.I'd go with the Ruger Precision, with one caveat: if you're not shooting long-range (past 500 meters) often, go with the .308 version.
.308 is significantly cheaper, and the ballistics between 6.5 CM and .308 Winchester are about the same to ~500 meters. There's a better variety of bullet designs and loads in .308 with greater aftermarket support in most platforms.
Chances are you can't shoot well enough for the difference between the Ruger and the Seekins to make an actual difference. Nothing wrong with that, it's not like you're Annie Oakley.
Ehhh not settle just the "other option". Something to pop my scope and a bipod on and go shoot steel and paper. It sounds like the Ruger is your "settle" option and you actually want the Seekins. Ahaha gotta love typos. I don't even drink gin.You can get gin for far cheaper if you shop around at the liquor store.
I want to like the 22/45 but the polymer lower just doesn't sit well with me. My MkIV standard on the other hand is almost the perfect .22 automatic. Heavy so there is no muzzle climb and I actually quite like the Ruger/Nambu/Luger grip angle.Apparently Ruger has filed a patent for a double stack .22lr pistol magazine. The patent blueprints show it in a 22/45 style pistol, but I'd imagine they'd also make a version for the Mark style pistols. Perhaps when the new Mk V and 22/45 pistols based on it inevitably come out, they will run with double stack mags?

I'm ok with the polymer lower as it gives me that 1911 esque grip angle.I want to like the 22/45 but the polymer lower just doesn't sit well with me. The smooth tapered barrel is also pleasing to the eye. I can pretty easily hit my 100 yard dinner plate once i get the hold over right.
Colorado prohibits magazines larger than 15rds (which finding for STANAG is a pain in the dick). After August of '26 your sheriff will have to sign off on you buying new assault rifles.
the standard is all purpose .22lr. it has fixed sights and a tapered barrel to decrease some weight. its a great gun to have when you are working your garden and need to kill a rabbit or a fox raiding the hen house. or a sidearm hunting.I'm ok with the polymer lower as it gives me that 1911 esque grip angle.
The normal Mk4 really is more of a target pistol.

the Mk series developed into a target pistol due to it's inherit accuracy but that is not what it was built for originally.
As of this year you can but annoyingly you need to have had your license for 5 years, whilst it's good to be allowed at all it's gay and retarded to have a time requirement like that. You also need to be a member of a shooting club as the ARs fall under "sporting" purposes. They are very new rules so it's likely they'll change again and get relaxed further, otherwise it's a pinned magazine only for your semiauto rifles (.22lr and .22mag are excluded, pccs too as they're considered "pistols" no matter the barrel length)I imagine you can get an AR and 30+ round magazines in Argentina.
This map doesn't really paint an accurate picture. For example Maryland allows AR-15 ownership but they ban certain features such as "collapsing stocks," "flash suppressors," lightweight barrels, and "high capacity" magazines. You are however allowed to possess high capacity magazines. When the law first came out, all it did was target weapons with dangerous sound names so all the rifle manufacturers changed the names to sell in Maryland. Lot of sporting ARs and AKs sold in the 2010s.That is true, Some of the shithole states have implemented military style weapons bans and magazine restrictions to only 10 rounds. I remember the tranch thread, the troon milita had all sort of stuff that was illegal in Denver but the rest of the state wouldn't enforce. Of course, being self-centered trannies, they refused any sort of 2A activism beyond their tribe and refuse to criticize their left wing "allies" for being anti-gun.The one good thing I'll say is that unless you live in Denver (you've got bigger problems) the higher capacity mags are "grandfathered" in and the burden of proof is upon them that you didn't have them prior to 2013. Local LEO truly don't care. If the county I've got family land in is fucking you on that you're already in shit and they're just trying to stack charges on you.
