putting scopes on pistols is an obsession of mine and the ruger standard/scout scope combo is extremely potent

im just now realizing that's probably an air pistol though

Anyone here ever run .308s with 110-125 grain bullets? I was thinking about my .308s that have 18" barrels and how I'd like them to be pushing rounds at 2800+ fps. Shooting bullets that are lighter than 147 grains seems a good way to do that.

Any companies out there making rounds with lighter bullets that aren't reduced recoil or rather expensive varmint loads? Or do I have to roll my own?

Use case would be shooting people that unarmored or lightly armored.

I mean I know about the significant health benefits NOW, which are the biggest reason why I'm seriously looking into getting some cans. My idea of suppressors were mostly pop-culture influenced for a long time, which meant "Oh well I don't need a suppressor I'm not doing super secret squirrel shit so I don't need to be quieter."

everyone should experience the joys of a scoped .22 pistol
those cheap phoenix arms hp-22 pistols are absolutely primo for this because they have a ribbed barrel so you can just get 3d printed rails for it.

its a shame they stopped making them. these are actually really well designed for saturday night specials. like they're disposable trash for sure but you can keep one running until the frame cracks so i'm gonna just buy them if i see them for $100 or less now.

would a set of liberator 2 headphones be worth it compared to some walker razors with gel cups? i've had my eyes on them for like a year but it's a pretty damn steep price.

Likely have to roll your own. Rifle varmint rounds are effective on people though.

I do remember hearing about something about an interesting lead free design Winchester put out. Instead of a solid copper projectile they just replaced the lead core with a copper one. Apparently it sheds the jacket and dumps that energy then the copper core punches through like an FMJ.

Too bad it seems like a Europe only product.

Possibly the only evidence suggesting that the North Korean helical mags 100% work Personally I always leaned towards them being functional because even with how prone to theatrics the KPA is I doubt anyone would come up with the idea to make fake helical AK mags, for some reason, seeing as how there's shell casings in the air

In addition to 15 round metal G43X/G48 mags we also might be getting 15 round G44 mags (Might be scared of Taurus dominating the market especially with FRT's, at least from what I can tell tracking /r/gundeals TX-22's sell out constantly)

NAS-3 is probably more likely but still.

Three hours of Chinese niggas shooting guns

Here's 20 minutes clipped out of them playing with a relatively obscure (especially on video) Type 77 HMG, very simple tubular construction, rather aesthetic

Yes, the ATF doesnt consider the gatcrank a MG conversion device as long as you use your hand and not a drill motor; but this post makes me wonder how fuzzy that line actually is when you are getting this level of effectiveness. Obviously that m1337 is still human powered, but ATF is ATF. Would like to see him try a 100rd belt.

Whats going on with the one with wires?
European LGBTQ council banned blank ammunition, so you can't have a starter pistol, instead you need to use a fake gun that just triggers a sound recording of a gunshot. The wires are probably also there to keep you from taking the gun with you because that would be a heckin' imitation firearm and you need 900000 loicenses for that

Not at all practical, at least not in the US, but I've been doing archery since I was four so this tickles my fancy. 10 round repeating crossbow with mags designed to fit in an AR15 mag pouch. Only up to 30 joules with the 150 pound limbs which doesn't sound like much to me compared to a full size crossbow (about 150 joules at the same weight) but I guess it's fine if it will take broadheads. Definitely enough for smaller game. If they made a compound version that'd be really interesting. There's also a .68 caliber version that will shoot paintballs/pepperballs as well as lead projectiles, up to 30 joules here as well. In addition to AR15 mag pouch compatibility it also takes AR15 stocks and grips

Poking around the website it looks like they offer bolts with 238gr broadheads so if they hit the full 250fps that the 150lb limbs advertise that's closer to 100joules but I assume 250fps is with 178gr bolts (minimum that can be safely fired from the higher draw weight limbs) which is just a hair over the advertised 30 joules

There's also a pump action conversion which I'm sure is a hoot, though they don't recommend going above 75lbs unless you're a strongman

Admittedly the semi looks decent, with the barrel hidden inside the faux suppressor.
