So I have my SBR stamp for my nice happy LaRue, I got it to build a short rifle for a can for HD.

I was thinking 11" barrel and now I came to think, well fuck me, I wanted to play super mall ninja, I gotta probably build a full upper more than swap hand guards and stuff in a small barrel.

I'm rather uneducated in what kinda stuff should I do? I'm really leaning to snag a holosun for "room to room" short ass rail for my fore grip (inb4 weakling). I put myself in this level of stupid, so I'm ok spending a bit but this is half LARP half home defense, (got many other options and maybe just put on hold or meme 7"?)

Also I would love to add to my BP collection, I REALLY want a Potzdam Musket 1831. For a half dozen reasons who makes a decent clone?

Are you asking how to build a suppressed SBR for HD?

How deep are you willing to go down this rabbit hole? I can help you but it won't be cheap.
 
I apparently store all my 22lr bullets in a plastic sealed ammo box. I opened it today in order to load my magazines and I noticed, they all oily as fuck. Is this normal?

I don't see this oily shit with the other same brand of ammo box that stores my 5.56 and .223 bullets.

Pretty much, I have the stamp, I have the can I have what makes me very happy with the rifle as is.

I don't know if it's me just being retarded, over thinking (probably this) but I'm just not 100% what I should be looking at doing I think I know, but if you have some ideas and can run them by and compare to the ever changing ideas in my head.

I don't mind the cost if that's a reality of it. But I also don't like going gucci for sake of, quality is worth while. I am away this is 99% going to be never used thank goodness but in event, I'd like to make sure I can totally use the thing.

What can do you have because what I'd suggest the build would be will center around that?

As for not liking gucci, like you said most quality shit is gucci and if you don't value your life enough to spend on quality, the whole exercise is futile.

I am a big freedom armory fan boy for a lot of reasons.

Fair enough I more asked as will par parts be fine or just bite down and do it right.

The rifle itself is a LaRue and run a triji and knights arms fore grip quality but basic.

Rest of my ARs are meh tier home builds. But work just fine.

I've never heard of Freedom Armory before, honestly. Their website is turning up an error code for me though it may be because of my VPN or ScriptSafe.

The way I did my set up is I decided I wanted a 10.5inch barrel with a Vltor A5 buffer set up so I wouldn't have to bother with an adjustable gas block. I also got a FA rated BCG with BCM upgraded extractor springs to handle the punishment of an SBR. The key piece for this set up was a Surefire SOCOM556 RC2 which was made for 10.5 inch barrels. It basically brings the length back to 16 inches but it's still very manageable in close quarters. Consider that it's only two inches longer than issued M4s and troops have been building clearing with those for awhile.

I personally also prefer a free-float handguard that blends into/over the suppressor, like what Giselle sells. They're pricy as fuck but you get what you pay for.
 
I took out my Ruger 10/22 to the range today with the upgraded BX trigger.

And holy hell, its makes a big difference in being more smooth and comfortable to shoot with as well as less recoil so it was more accurate.

Honestly, if you've ever filled out a 4473, been in the military, police, or armed security they already know. It's just a matter of looking up your credit or debt transactions then.

Not saying that you shouldn't buy P80s because they're fun, but we need to stop fooling ourselves into thinking that these are somehow under the radar. It's already going to be assumed you own firearms if our worst fears are realized.

Are they lead bullets? Or jacketed? I think the lead bullets have a wax lube coating - maybe this melted?
 
Has anyone got their hands on the LCP MAX yet? Strongly considering picking it up.

I rather not fuck with an Adjustable gas block myself so good hint. I've never used a surefire can, my only non Freedom is a gem tech and I rather like also. I was for sure expecting a heavy duty BCG due to slanging heavy lead on a short system.

Thanks much, I dug myself into this over priced build when my G20 does just fine stopping break ins by future engineers. Or any of the other fucking piles of fire arms I keep hoarding like a Chandler lol.

Lastly fun fact I used to live about 10 mins from Giselle. Nice folk but maybe I'm cheap I'd never drop that much on a trigger, I have heard though the one they make for the Tavor is worth every penny.

Their AK triggers are pretty dope, too.

They lead bullets. And it does somewhat feel like wax

A wax coating is pretty common, especially for bulk pack .22. I hate it because it occasionally fucks with extraction out of one of my .22 bolt action rifles that has a particularly tight chamber.
