Considering how that person only worked at Retro for about a year during Covid after writing for Jedi: Fallen Order and then went to a different studio (and doesn't really seem to be online publicly), I don't know if I should be THAT worried about it. The tranny Samus tweet was also made, what, 9 years ago? Color me optimistic, but that's not a whole lot to go off of. Prime 4 seems to be exceptionally well-protected when it comes to info getting leaked so who the fuck knows...maybe Retro really did try to go 'modern audience' route and Nintendo fought with them on it, forcing re-writes. Also heard that Prime 1 remaster forced the whole studio to go into ridiculous crunch time to complete it, no telling when that was or how much it got in the way.

Apparently there's a June Direct. I gave up on waiting for info on it a long time ago but after the release of Dread & Prime 1R (plus the fact that they keep listing it on their upcoming release schedules on every FY report since 2020), I'm starting to think they'll mention Prime 4 then if not soon after. Even if it's just to say that it's cancelled.

It's about SKREEE-ing time they gave us something. How long had it been since they had to scrap it and rework from scratch? Five years?

God, I hope it delivers. It's already insane how it looks like you are just dropped right into a warzone to see the action upfront. I'm looking forward to more "Metroid is too HAAAAAAAAAARD" whiny comments from the dummies who can't make it past the first level.

After all these years (I don't count FedForce or Other M) the hunter is finally back in the best Varia suit - the suit cunts like Sakurai absolutely refuse to put in Smash. Nippon just can't handle the fact that western barbarians made the best Metroids. This also confirms that Retro used Prime Remastered as a skeleton for this new one which is good. Scan visor is back = very good. I hope Yamamoto returns as well. And I hope to see expanded GFed ranks like the Demo troopers and maybe even based Admiral Dane. They were cool.
