Samus has never been depicted as buff or overly muscular in any video game she's been in. She is very tall and athletic but more often than not she just looks "normal".

Edit: I'll give you she has a six pack in Super Metroid but she is still pretty modestly muscular and it looks more like she just has very low body fat there. nothing particularly unattainable as far as mass. Every other game she looks normal or even skinny.
It's my head canon you can't usually see her musculature because she drinks too much beer when not stranded.

I assume this is a SWITCH exclusive. If that's the case, i don't want to be the bearer of bad news but kids have been outpriced for the most part. It's only millennial retards left now.

Every American videogame studio has been infested with this cultural rot. Give metroid back to the Mexicans who made Dread. I'll take the lowest points of that game 10x before dealing with marvel quips.

That's the problem. The way she's drawn or depicted conflicts significantly with both her entire job and lifestyle, and the actual literal stats used to describe her.
 
Hey, I like the contrast, but you wouldn’t expect someone like her to be under the suit, which makes the reveal all the more impactful.

Plus, she’s wearing power armor, which does most of the heavy lifting.

It's been said a thousand times but I'm still in utter disbelief why they thought this was a good idea, and and I loved Other M. Adding a tension destroying, Joss Wheldon tier NPC is the literal antithesis to Metroid. How did we go from Dread to this (:_(

He works fine for an "old service buddy" character in a believable way. Wasn't annoying in the game.
But I think in particular contrasted with Adam in that game, nearly anyone could seem like a relief. Adam fucking sucked in every way possible and I'm glad he died twice.

they removed that in 2 onwards, because people hated that shit.
