Lol, so they literally just turned the taskbar into the Dock from Mac OS. How many millions in R&D did they put into that one?

We need an OS designed by a batch of literal schizophrenics who are just put in some kind of group mansion and allowed to do whatever crazy shit they like. It would be better than what we have now. Imagine a mansion full of Terry Davises all contributing to some thing.Lol, so they literally just turned the taskbar into the Dock from Mac OS. How many millions in R&D did they put into that one?
Does anyone have a link to the leaked beta? Legit asking for a fren.
The current pajeet-core ceo made Microsoft even more soulless than what it was. This shit never happened during Steve Ballmer's tenure as CEO. Hell, XP and 7 were released under him.
Windows 10 has been saying this for 4 years. "Limited experience" means you don't get your MS account integration. That's it.
Here's a video tour of it. It's even worse than the still images.
EDIT: also, it's been called further up in the thread, but yes this is an always-on, you-must-have-a-microsoft-account OS. Right there during the install, it says "continue with limited install experience" or something if you don't use a Microsoft account.
They've been up our asses and in our ears and out our eyes and through our wallets for 30+ years now, so I guess they're going in through the urethra this time.
He was CEO for the launch of the Xbox. This shit never happened during Steve Ballmer's tenure as CEO. Hell, XP and 7 were released under him.
Fuck gnome, that tranny riddled piece of shit makes windows 10 look competent. So, it's a rebranded update to Windows 10 like I said.
I prefer icons in the center because everyone else does it already, it's more consistent in general. It's not just "dey be copy da mack", even Linux does it with Gnome, and also Plank (the worst dock in my opinion yet people love it because reasons) and others like latte-dock.
I just hope this is an early enough beta because it looks like a half step. Nothing on winget or the new store that it's supposed to be a frontend for it, nor anything on the WinUI framework. It would seem MS leaked it on purpose because they're so chill on twatter, like "hey yeah we know about the leak but just you wait for the official announcement date lol"
As for the start menu, it's no big deal. It's just like some linux implementations like Slingshot. I hope the recommended panel should be able to be disabled or that it works as a Recents. I'm gonna miss looking at news, weather, reminders and mail there, and there's my worry, the replacement is the widget panel, they are dropping live tiles in favor of a glorified embedded collapsible webpage showing news and weather from msn.com which is a garbage news source. In my computer I have the news app configured to show specific shit from my local news sources, but msn.com just shows the usual pop political shit like "we still can't stop talking about orange man!". And the weather is less detailed.
The rest is just autistic memes: ms bad, google lunix apple good, im so hardcore I still run windows 3.
oh, and LOL STILL NO TABS ON EXPLORER HAHAHAHAHA
This is the most sensible opinion. It's an unfinished beta anyways, I'm still holding my breath for the winget store frontend, as far I've heard the winget repos can easily include anything with an MSI package or EXE installer on the internet, and so far I've tested Scoop and it works, and people swear by Chocolatey. Hopefully this means no more Ninite.Style-wise, with the new sound, desktop and excessive rounded corners, the best I can say is that it's inoffensive.
How it works practically doesn't matter because you're either (locked) in or out.
Indeed, but it has become the "linux normie" experience if that makes any sense thanks to ubuntu and fedora making it the default, and pop and elementary not diverging enough. Now everyone developing for linux UIs thinks hamburgers are the future for the same reason Windows started messing with tablet shit: yearly articles by clickbait internet rags saying "teh pc is totes dead for reels this time!"Fuck gnome, that tranny riddled piece of shit makes windows 10 look competent.
738 lakh ₹Lol, so they literally just turned the taskbar into the Dock from Mac OS. How many millions in R&D did they put into that one?
you can run windows 10 unactivated, get keys for like 5 bucks or just run linux,*me, still on XP for poorfag reasons* A bullet dodged, I guess.
I'm assuming you mean XP Service Pack 4, and if so, I haven't personally tried it out. According to the install directions though, you need a fresh copy of Win XP SP3 already installed and to be connected to the internet for the install to work properly.Has anyone tried any of those WinXP kernal extenders?
Better yet, get your hands on Windows 10 LTSC 2019 and a KMS activator. Enterprise-spec W10 viz. no Cortana or any of that other horseshit and it's supported until 2029.you can run windows 10 unactivated, get keys for like 5 bucks or just run linux,
if it's a hardware issue i'd use some form of lubuntu over xp.
I actually meant https://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36763 which tries to hack in newer Win32 API and other compatibility stuff but this looks cool too.I'm assuming you mean XP Service Pack 4, and if so, I haven't personally tried it out. Terry A Davis was right,
