I sincerely wish I could go back in time and bully Notch into using C++ instead of the shitstorm domino effect of using Java.

Java is fine. Minecraft's jank comes more Notch's lack of optimization.

there are some projects to add to beta 1.7.3, which is what a lot of people consider the end of the golden age of minecraft. NewFrontierCraft's discord is tranny infested, but I dont think they have managed to ruin the actual mod yet.

It appears they have promoted a they/them furry to lead dev since I last checked, so I have no idea if the mod is going to be ruined or not. I played it mostly last year and it was pretty decent, albeit slower to progress than vanilla. Felt good to play beta again.

Im willing to bet mojang is ran alot like twitter where it has hundreds of useless employees who do nothing but get paid a good paycheck and thats why we barely get shit anymore, that and the fact java is probably a mess of spaghetti code written a decade ago.

Chat moderation was 100% a feature pushed by microsoft without a single regard for the communities want, that doesn't absolve mojang of any wrong doing, they could have polished the turd instead of letting it plop onto the game as bad as possible, at least its easy to bypass.

I'm wondering if the mojang side of thing intentionally fucked it up to get MS to drop it and underestimated how much of a euphoria boner banning le ebil TERFs gives their troon overlords.

Turns out that Mojang's contractual leniency has struck again, the text is now technically public domain!

So the guy got screwed over by Microsoft by them not paying him any royalties and claiming that the poem was theirs and not his (which it was), and after he was on a shroom trip in the Netherlands he decided that he's gonna make it Public Domain and write a long ass fucking post about it.

Dude, that poem was always meant to be there to waste 10 minutes of your time after you killed the Ender Dragon. It's not that fucking deep.

You can try migrating. I tried migrating another account I bought for a friend over to a microsoft account from the original minecraft account and it almost let me until there was an email conflict. Try migrating it.
