Just since I think people here will be interested, Phoenix SC made a video about the EULA changes.
Phoenix has a LLB, which, from wikipedia is "Bachelor of Laws (Latin: Legum Baccalaureus; LL.B.) is an undergraduate law degree in the United Kingdom, Europe and most common law jurisdictions.", But he is NOT a lawyer, so do keep that in mind.
TLDR for his video is that the changes are both not as bad as people are saying, but are still pretty bad in a few cases, worth a watch.

So, 2B2T updated to 1.19. And the admin made several changes that pissed off the playerbase. This includes stronger anti-cheat and anti-xray systems, as well as the limiting of the number of certain items (such as totems) or the total deletion of some others (like end crystals), from the chests and inventories of players. They will have to grind back these items from the start. Hause has also announced that a significant amount of inactive chunks would be deleted.

People have mentioned Vintage Story in this thread and I thank them. I definitely enjoy playing this game and it scratches the itch Minecraft was supposed to scratch. It's pretty complicated but an enjoyable alternative, especially having fun with all the mechanics and differences that just feel way more complete than slapping things in a crafting grid. I recommend and I've not even gotten to Iron yet.

Fucking Banning Skins? Chat Reporting was already bad but this has entered into full nanny state tier moderation. Thankfully those Offline skins mods will probably be able to bypass this, and you can always do a minor edit to a skin to get around it, but still its fucking stupid how far reaching mojang has gone for a game that doesn't even have official servers afaik.

I must say the game is pretty interesting. I brought a copy last year and have been having fun (with some friends on a private server). I believe the creator was an author of a mod for minecraft (hence the inspiration for the game).

Here are some of the absolute worst changes from the new update. Note that they are being implemented on a server famous for not resetting its map in the more than a decade it's been active, and for having almost no rules in regards to how the game is played, including allowing hacks. I'd say good job on ruining one of the most historically prevalent servers in one of the best-selling games of all time, but the update to 1.19 with all the gay chat moderation (and later on this faggy skin/name reporting shit) would've ended up making it completely unplayable anyways. Either way, lots of big 2b2t/Minecraft content creators are pissed, in particular SalC1. He was one of the most popular 2b2t-adjacent Minecraft YouTubers on the site, but according to his video on the subject he's refunded his priority queue subscription and is quitting 2b2t content creation until the changes are reverted. That's a big deal as his videos on the server (and unrelated to it) get millions of views. He also showed screenshots from a Discord where it seems he's encouraged at LEAST several dozen people to cancel their priority subscriptions ($20 a month to bypass the server join queue) so this shit is definitely going to have an impact on Hausemaster's wallet.

tl;dw they're doubling down on turning the "oldest anarchy server in minecraft" into a vanilla survival server with rules. they make several blatantly false claims about the content of SalC1's video covering the update where he explains why it's so gay and encourages people to refund their priority queue status. They accuse him of "throwing a tantrum" and "omitting information." they also claim the vast majority of the playerbase is happy with the update and only a vocal minority isn't, despite multiple subreddits, major minecraft youtubers and a discord server with 2500+ members all campaigning against the changes. also, they have yet to refund SalC1's priority queue purchase and are reportedly denying refunds for many other players.
