I finished my massive build, and even with tools it took a while because I basically used it to teach myself how to use Axiom. But now that I have the hang of it it's so much fun to play with.
The ziggurat is finally done, and it was an ordeal to do the interior. The whole structure is perfectly symmetrical at 600x600, with the halo at build limit.

The interior levels are the three dimensions, and the Nether was a bitch because of the glass tunnels. I'll probably detail the overworld a little more later, but it's good enough for now.

I moved a palace I used to practice the mods and made it a connecting point of my bridge, I just like how it looks.

And because the bridge is so long, I'm adding things every so often as you go down it for scenery. There's a chain of mushroom islands that it runs through, so that means more mushrooms. They're a WIP but I think this'll be awesome.

Why is it that every time Black History Month rolls around, they only touch on slaves and the civil rights movement? Are they trying to say that the only history black people have is being slaves and second class citizens? How about you layer this shit, release a new update every week that goes over various aspects of blacks in America. Week one, history of black people in media (actors, musicians) week two, history of black people in academia, week 3, history of black people serving in the military, then close off with the civil rights movement and slavery to show how far they've come since then. It's got to feel really patronizing to be treated like the only interesting thing about your history is the fact that there was a boot on your peoples' head for most of it. It's like if there was a Korean History Month and the only thing talked about is how the rest of Asia kept raping and murdering them and then the Korean War happened.

I'm happy with the mushrooms, I kept them more basic as they're meant to be seen from the bridge leading into the next landmass.

My latest project is an alien landscape based on pulpy magazine cover sci-fi landscapes.
I found a nearby coast with a ring of mountains around it, and thought it was geographically perfect for the landscape.

I'm working on the water now and I'll have to add buildings, but I like how it's shaping up so far.

The most total way to enslave a population is to make them unable to conceive of anything other than being slaves. That way they enslave themselves, and enforce enslavement on each other.

This is exactly why black people are the way they are nowadays. When you only talk about slavery, and hammer into their skulls that they're victims, you get a people with a perpetual persecution complex and a constant chip on their shoulder that never want to fix things or improve their culture.

Imagine a world where black kids grew up being taught something other than "muh slavery, fuck whitey"

i have no idea why this has anything to do with a block building game, especially since microsoft did the laziest marketing stunt ever on black people history month for their shitty black historical figures pack, what is funny is that no one pointed out how the skins hairline are basically balding...

Basically every group of people including whites now do this and to have any positive interpretation of one's history is seen as balkan-esque chauvinism, white supremacy, or becomes fake like the kangs stuff. We are in a world of perpetual losers, and nucraft reflects this.

i think the big problem is that most people mistake patriotism for nationalism. you can say your country is great, or even the best in the world, without saying "AND HERE'S WHY EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IS SHIT AND WE SHOULD ROLL OVER THEM AND CLAIM THEM AS OUR OWN!" but people have trained themselves to see the worst in having any pride as someone of their own nationality. its that episode from king of the hill where the 'diversity specialist' comes in and makes all the kids hate themselves for their peoples' history, except we're talking about anyone under the age of 60 instead of a group of 13 year olds.
