I think he made the right call ending his YouTube career. Rather have that end on a good note than have him become an Idubbbz.I miss Filthy Frank.

Mixtape isn't even an "indie" game, considering a lot of the funding was made by the Australian government.
Every time I see a video from the 1930s/40s, I feel like, "Damn, I was born in the wrong generation. I'd rather die on a shitfield somewhere by the Volga river for Missa Hitla."https://youtube.com/watch?v=JcmylxQ0ma4
Funny thing is, these types of morons were made fun of by Filthy Frank ages ago. In fact, its creepy how his videos seem to be ahead of their time. Like the Zuckerbot.
State-sponsored propaganda, "gaming's" future is bright.... nuclear explosion bright....Mixtape isn't even an "indie" game, considering a lot of the funding was made by the Australian government.
Even Dear Feeder was unable to prevent himself from turning into a lolcow as a result of Internet overexposure.I think he made the right call ending his YouTube career. Rather have that end on a good note than have him become an Idubbbz.
Nah, he got a second career as a mainstream signer.I think he made the right call ending his YouTube career. Rather have that end on a good note than have him become an Idubbbz.
Most games, even indie games, get some public money in the form of art grants and tax credits. It's partially why Montreal and the province of Quebec is basically one of the main epicenters of gaming.Mixtape isn't even an "indie" game, considering a lot of the funding was made by the Australian government.
Didn't watch the end of the stream, but the entire problem with this game is the rating. If the game journos had given it even an 8, no one would have given a shit, looked into Annapurna Interactive, etc. Finally got to watch Josh's stream. I mostly agree with him, just not about the rating. I give it a 6-7.
It started in the 80s, but never ended. As far as references to the loudness wars, they may be in the game but considering the main character wears her headphones backwards, treats speakers like shit, and at the beginning of the game(caught this while watching Josh's stream) uses a pencil to re-wind a tape in the wrong direction(it should have unspooled or made a mess), to think that the creators of this game actually give a fuck about anything audio or music industry related is laughable like the rest of the "nostalgia".It is a bit lenghty at times but does have its funny moments, including a few not too obvious references, like the one to the 1980s Loudness Wars no one seems to have got.
Ha! True.It started in the 80s, but never ended.
