Every mid- or large-sized company has DEI and ESG plans. Every one of them commits to hiring more “diverse” candidates, which by default means non-diverse candidates get left out. Some will just leave certain positions open until a sufficient number of diverse candidates apply per their plans. If they close it too early, it means a nigger got denied a job opportunity. So they have to keep it open so that heccin’ niggerino gets a chance.
So you applying to an entry level position and then never hearing about it again is likely because they’re just waiting until they find someone who checks off enough diversity boxes. Yeah, being a white guy for entry level positions likely means you’ll never get a call back.
I caught a bunch of shit for this over time here but I’d just tick off those diversity boxes. Say you’re a latinks who is part of the LGBTBBQWTF and have a disability. You’ll never be able to have to prove it and guarantee you callback rates will be much higher. Every yt applicant now has to be Rachel Dolezal or Shaun We Wuz Kangz.
