As a happy Bitwarden customer, I'll second dear feeder's recommendation. PW management is so much easier now.Didn't know that, I'll do it asap. Thanks dear feeder![]()

i use firefox. its reliable and i actually prefer its ui and customisability. What should I use instead? Sorry for the spoon feeding request but you guys are the only people I trust for this kind of thing.
I didn't know that. Fuck, I was starting to like the browser.Wasn't waterfox bought by an ad company? I used to use the legacy looking version cause of nostalgia reasons but if you wanna future proof you should probably use something like LibreWolf (Firefox with better configs and uBlock by default)
Josh suggested on an episode of MATI to use Brave and he sold it on some pretty excellent features. I haven't had a problem since, I deleted every other browser from my desktop. As a tech illiterate internet dweller... who the fuck uses Chrome based shit? Do people want their RAM raped?
Looks like a really good fit, thanks for the recommendation. I really need to figure out how to handle multiple proxies, this on a small SoC plus VPN should be a futureproof setup.Something like this?
I'd recommend either Brave or Firefox. Personally, I use Falkon and I can cover pretty much my needs, OOB adblocker and other goodies, though it doesn't have that many extensions like the former two. What should I use instead? Ended up getting Librewolf and BitWarden. Happy with both so far, I just wish I could use the forced dark mode thingy I have on google Chrome from their experimental settings.I'd recommend either Brave or Firefox. You can disable clearing cookies on exit if you really want to, then on individual sites you can set the theme if they have that option. There's also a fuck load of extensions that will force websites to use dark mode if you want that as well.Ended up getting Librewolf and BitWarden. DarkReader will help you here. Also heads up for LibreWolf, if you care about this sort of stuff they're getting all bent out of shape about CoC, general tranny faggotry and politics (muh master branch, also here is a forum post about it). I've moved to Mullvads browser for my daily driver and it's been pretty solid, LibreWolf is staying as a backup for now until Ladybird is ready for regular use. As for the password manager, Bitwarden is a great choice. If you need something else to backup your MFA secrets look into Aegis, or yubikeysEnded up getting Librewolf and BitWarden. I've had a lot of success switching friends and family to Brave. It works just like Chrome and they all like how it tells them the time they've saved from skipping ads. That must be nice. My experience doing this shit is that switching away means enduring weeks of "Why is my internet gone? Yeah the green thing with the dot in the middle, it looks like a dishwasher tablet. I want it back, I need the internet to check my email right now!"
I hope Google fucking burns in hell and all that of course, I just don't think any of this is going to hit them back in any meaningful way. They've gotten away with much worse shit.
