If I didn't know Chris and saw that video I wouldn't be interested enough to look Chris up. Pewdiepie failed to convey what makes Chris unique.

Plenty of youtubers talk about Chris all the time as a joke. Pewdiepie is just 8 years behind and thought he'd drum up some more shekels by 'talking about Chris'. If he wants to throw 200$ at Chris it's not like he can't spare the money what with his millions of youtube dollars.

He used to have tons of channels where he pretty much copied all the more popular ones out there and added his own level of 'charm'. For awhile he'd put up videos saying he was shutting down his channel only for him to ramble on for fifteen minutes before revealing he was shutting down one of his other channels and not his main one. When it comes to you tubers he's generally reviled.
