who the fuck is havik lmao every single character introduced after 3 is fucking trash

I really liked Shinnok, Reiko, Tanya, Jarek and Kai.
Fujin and Quan Chi are kinda alright. Everyone else though I could never really take seriously. They all seemed half-assed or just ripped out from other games. Darrius looked like he just stepped out of Tekken, and Kobra from Street fighter for example.
But you're right MK 1-3 had an amazing cast. Only character I didn't like was Kintaro.

For some reason the women always look much better in the concept art, its not til they reach the rendering that they get modernized

Compare every girl's wanted poster versus the model right in front of it, in cases like Jaqui and Sheeva the differences are so stark its almost funny

Gimme General Shao Kahn needing an army of sexy women, so he takes all the female ninjas and tries to clone them or whatever; and as a result, we get Mileena, Kitana, Jade, and Li Mei all with Mileena's MK9 bandage outfit. That was one of the best outfits ever, and we only got it for one game.

That aside, I'm unironically worried about the storyline. Because if Kronika is back, and she knows that Shang Tsung is capable of so much more... we have a Chrono Phantasma. Someone who can exist outside of the time line and retains knowledge and free will. Congratulations Boon, you've written yourself into the corner of "None of this matters," and nothing personal, you do not have the ability to write a happy ending; there are no happy endings in this situation, because everyone or the one important person dies to set everything right. Ragna was able to defeat the Imperator, save Saya, and sacrificed himself so others could have a happy life. Liu Kang already killed Kronika, and she's already back to scheming and starting trouble; the fuck are you gonna do besides have endless wars and battles until the bad guys eventually win and subjugate all the realms/timelines?

Seems like she's trying to revert the changes to screw with Liu Kang. It's all she has left. She turns Shang "Evil" again but he is no where near as strong as he once was. The only redeeming thing about her return as a returning boss character is that her head has to stay attached to the body for the body to function and why it's latched on. Real question is though, who put it there? Who created that? Why?
Miy money is on Geras, he remembers everything but has no control over his actions and knows his personality has been altered
I have a feeling she'll have some part to play with Raiden as well.

God, Tanya is fucking ugly in game. There a reason the faggots at netherrealm race swapped her to begin with? She always looked kind of middle eastern or Indian in all the original character designs.

But I'm also too busy laughing at the fact Edenia has been changed to just be Asia now and Sindel got race swapped also(Netherfags clearly watched Shang Chi and stole magical asia. Not seeing any white people so far but for some reason Tanyas there ).

All the other female characters have the same type of face and just look like Kelly Hu now. Laytex burqas on all of them, high heels, I dont know who the character designer is but this is starting to look more like someone's fetish after they did the same thing for the female characters in the last few games.

This games looking more embarrassing than MK 11, which was a clusterfuck of faggotry on levels MKx dreamed of. Someone needs to finish off Netherrealm already, because they clearly dont want to make MK anymore. They just want to make a Marvel movie with graphic violence.

Cons: Fugly women ( Kitana and Melina look alright, Sindle looks cute in fat Vietnamese kinda way )
New Timeline ( fucking why ed )
Probably micro transactions out the ass

Pros: No more moveset variations ( thank fuck )
Test Your Might/Strength/Sight/Luck returning
Invasions mode ( I'll take anything over grinding towers )

I don't know what people's opinion of the Krypt were but I fucking despised it in 11. I wasen't a fan during the 3D era but I'd rather have characters like Havik and Ashra be in then another Cassie or Jaquie.

I would like to point out that unlike how Sonya was modeled after Ronda in the last game, this Nitara isn't modeled after Megan Fox. Her mouth doesn't open nearly as wide as hers. Pretty sure Megan could deep throat a blue whale penis without choking.
