Most A-logged Characters In Fiction. - A surprisingly prevalent phenomenon.

Before there was Jar-Jar Binks, there were people hating the Ewoks - mostly those who liked to pretend the first Star Wars films were super-serious adult dramas and in no way for kids.
I never even minded those. They were obviously made to sell toys, but whatever. They had a charm.

It amazes me how much people (Tumblr) Hate Minoru Mineta for the simple fact that he's a pervert as if they've never watched another anime before. It may be likely that this is their first anime because Mineta in some ways reminds me of Ataru Moroboshi in some ways. I imagine Tumblr would have a shitfit if they ever watched Urusei Yatsura.

Emilia from Re:Zero. I didn't even watch the show but I still see people reeing about her since she got the protagonist instead of some side character. It's almost always fanboys of said side character who are doing the A-logging, of course.

I don't even watch anime all that much (if at all) and last time I checked... Most of them (even the good ones) have characters like that in it, as if it were some unwritten rule to be followed at all times. Then again, that's Tumblr for you!

You literally cannot A-Log anime for basically this exact reason. No one in anime acts like a normal human being and only human beings can be A-Logged.

To be honest, as far as unfunny, annoying comic relief characters designed only for children go, Jar Jar doesn't even come close to being the bottom of the barrel.
What I'm saying, is that Jar Jar's got nothing on those yellow tic-tacs that ruined the word "minion".

The thing with Jar Jar is he's one of the only characters with a personality and a reason for being there. He's a nonce who got banished so he sticks around with the Jedi and helps them. Got it. No one else in that movie has any reason to do any of the shit they do.

As Mr. Plinkett explained a lot better, Jar Jar is one of the few understandable elements of the prequels - he's a dumb goofy comic relief character. It's not that he's the worst, it's that the other elements of the movies are so much worse that it's hard to understand what Lucas was even trying to do.

El Fuerte and Hakan from Street Fighter
Unique AF characters in terms of design and gameplay, yet end up getting shat on by Street Fighter purists (Blanka and Dhalsim exist too you dumbasses).

Remy too despite being a Guile clone
This! Funnily it's usually the same people shitting on these oh-so-weird characters that also whine about all the shoto clones. Give it a few years and Hakan and El Fuerte will be venerated as unique, semi-obscure characters such as Q and Oro (Fingers crossed the latter two make it to SFV Season 3).

Fucking this. I didn't even want to bring it up because it always starts a shit storm. I don't even bother talking about the new movies on the internet anymore because I'm sick of how angry nerds get about this character. Not even little kid Anakin got this treatment. I've never seen a character judged so harshly for such innocuous "flaws".

She's a little half-baked but if you seriously plug that Mary Sue crap then I'm left wondering if you ever actually watched a Star Wars movie.

They hate Mineta because he's a pervert? That's like hating a villain because he's acting villainous! Personally I think he's one of the more relatable characters exactly because his depraved personality and flaws make his occasional heroic moments all the more impressive.

Brenda Chenowith from Six Feet Under. She was a serial cheater who used her bad childhood as an excuse for being a bitch, and people used to flip the fuck out over it.

Meanwhile her brother Billy got away with being an absolute psycho.

Still, Lisa got A-Logged even more.
