He might be androgynous...but like many men he was already losing his hair in his early 20s. If he is still alive and didn't 41% himself then he most likely hasn't much hair left. He was still beautiful tho...until he trooned out.

Oddly enough it's always some of the most masculine men that troon out. Which can be kinda sad to see. Must be pretty painful to be a bodybuilder and see your dream body in the hands of a troon.

Is there an explanation for why that is? I know a lot of FTMs have eating disorders and body dysmorphia before pooning out. Do MTFs experience something similar? Some of these dudes were absolute units in their before pictures, does your body change gradually if you get that buff and cease working out? Does the estrogen help them slim down? I find these men very strange.

A lot of body builders have the same insecurities that women that eat super restrictively do. They're just chasing after the male ideal rather than the female ideal. When they troon out it can boomerang into wanting the opposite look ofc. But what a lot of dysmorphia and all that is about is basically chasing the dragon of looking as best as you possible can at all costs but with such a warped perception they sometimes don't quite realize what they're doing to themselves. Remember that body builders are about aesthetic after all and not just being fit for the sake of actual athletic performance. It's sort of it's own means to an end. People falsely assume they're healthy mentally and physically because we perceive putting work into being fit as something which is good and it is. But at the end of the day a lot of them are after an extreme look all the same.
