A MtF transgender player has joined a female-exclusive volleyball team and is breaking once-steadfast records held by natural female players almost immediately. This player has played at a professional level on male-only teams before transitioning.

Male-exclusive divisions and female-exclusive divisions obviously do not overlap due to the physical differences between the sexes. A cursory look at the held records for something such as weight lifting shows a large difference between male and female scores. Providing evidence to demonstrate this, female-exclusive adult soccer teams have been documented playing against under-15 boys teams for practice and losing.

There is increasingly mounting evidence to conclude that, despite what your position on transgenderism may be, allowing transgender players to play on female teams is creating an unfair competitive environment for naturally female competitors.

Men should not be allowed on women's sports teams. I don't care if you are trans. Nothing will ever change the fact that you are biologically male. There's a reason why sports teams are sex segregated in just about every category. It's much harder for a female athlete to get anywhere near the same recognition as a male athlete. Letting trannies into women's leagues just takes away the hard earned accomplishments of female athletes. And that's not right at all.

There's only been one female goalie to play for an NHL team, and that was during the pre-season, as a publicity stunt. There have been a handful of women who have played in the lower divisions of leagues in the US, Finland and France.

Well that is the issue with intersectionality, and post modernism in general. There is no truth or individuality. Just group identities and hierarchies of power. Male and Female sports leagues were something created back in the days when gender differences were just a matter of fact. Now though, if a Man identifies as Female, he HAS to be allowed into the Female league. Because gender is a spectrum and anyone can fall where they feel most "comfortable". There is no biological imperative guiding it.

And if natural born women have a problem with that, well, bully to them. Because they are a Privileged class in this context, having the benefit of being born normative. Especially if they are WHITE. The only way to win an argument like this according to intersectionality is to have more layers of victimization then the person on the other side. Which means a Muslim Woman of Color who is lesbian may be able to counter the white female who was once male. At which point its Xirs duty to shut up and listen. Which is how you win the argument in intersectionality btw. Logic and reason have nothing to do with it. The person who has the most layers of victim identity gets to speak and the people with less victimization or worse, oppressor identities, have to keep quite and mindlessly agree with the winner of the victim game.
