My Adventures With Superman

New episode. Excessively ugly, dominated by some of the worst CGI models out there. Not only are the robots and Steel's mechsuit ugly, but the attempt to sync the 3D suit with the 2D John Henry Irons just feels all kinds of wrong.

Also extremely nothing plotwise. Some Literally Who character wants to make robots powered by unstable nuclear power and he gets stopped, and the robots are called "Metallo" because fuck you for expecting a character. I guess we learn that Cyborg won't be getting ruined in this show, since they show his dad and he says Victor's only 10 years old. If you're a Gamergater you'll probably be rendered epileptic by the number of black people in this episode. Also Vicki Vale is there and I don't know why because the only reason you'd ever have Vicki Vale in anything is if she's a plaything for Batman in civilian disguise.

New episode, and it's a bad, bad one.
Most of this episode's plot is based around flashbacks of Luz's childhood being raised to be a survival expert by her asshole dad. I don't understand why this show wants us to care about him, he's a paranoid government spook who keeps needless secrets and neglected his family so he could go all survivalist against aliens, and having Lois keep respecting him like this is intolerable.
Meanwhile the Suicide Squad is running rampant in Metropolis for no good reason except "Destroy Superman", and nobody outside of the main cast can figure that out. Lex Luthor persuades the gullible masses and STAR Labs that actually it's Superman's fault in existing that chaos and destruction happens in Metropolis and I want to just strangle this show's writers. Also Toyman cameos as just some old civilian that Lois's dad knows.

Next episode's gonna have Kara in it. She's dressed up like Android 18 in the back half of the Cell Saga because small reference pools. People are going to ship her with Jimmy and the viewers opposed to it will be opposed for stupid reasons like "REEEEEEEEE WHITE GENOCIDE" instead of real reasons like "Keep Kara and Jimmy away from dating other members of the Superfamily". Like holy shit you had a perfectly good idea for romance in pairing Jimmy with Silver Banshee gift-wrapped for you in the 2023 Superman comic and gave Silver Banshee a generic yet functionally waifuable design, why didn't you take it?

Meanwhile on Twitter:
You can't make this shit up. People only care about this show when it's referencing things they've heard of.

I also going to add that it's not even a good design GPm1-nwWEAAd-bE.jpeg
She looks like a character made in picrew.

One thing is for sure, they will pair the blonde with the negroid as per semitic state mandate.

Ya know, I'll say this. I have problems with this show and there are things I like, like a more tomboyish Louis I can dig and do enjoy her design and some of the fights werent bad. But, some of the writing just feels like it hasnt gone past the 1st draft and needed another go. Now, I can get the idea of this show having like 3 seasons, fuck it least kinda has more reason than the fuckin Harley Quinn show, which should have ended on S2.

How? I can at least get the idea of Harley Quinn being "Let's run the Batman brand through the corporate-approved SJW filter". What the fuck is the point of MAWS? Being a backdoor pilot for a Suicide Squad animated series?

All I know about this show is that they gave Superman a Sailor Moon transformation, and that they turned Supergirl into Android 18.

Yes, we get it, millennial animators: You have seen anime before, and you are fans of other things. Now make something that's actually original for once. Good God Almighty.

I'm a Sailor Moon fan ... And I am sick to death of seeing Sailor Moon references everywhere in modern American animation.

Latest episode is very...nothing. The first two thirds are split between Superman being treated like Metropolis's most eligible bachelor and having Silver St. Cloud flirt with him so Luz gets jealous and bitches at him over it, and Jimmy showing Android 18 around town. The last third is Kara just suddenly flipping from an awkward newcomer to going full Zod at Supes just because he wouldn't return her greeting. Supes pulls a Shoop Da Whoop with his freeze breath to fight her in a beam struggle (URRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH) but still loses and gets carted off to space. Also she's calling Brainiac her dad.

This is not a Superman show. This is a generic mashup of superhero tropes that uses names taken from the Superman stable.
