My experience with Christian (featuring a new original art piece)

I sincerely hope you're not going to settle that case. Chris needs to learn that when people PAY MONEY for something you give them what THEY PAID FOR. You paid for a medallion, a certificate and an at least somewhat decent shipping time. What you got was a long wait, doxxed, a fucked up medallion and a certificate with ink splotches all over it.

Ebay should really be considering shutting down Chris' account. He's made it adamant that if someone he got paid by makes him angry he's going to butcher their purchases out of spite. I don't think Ebay needs someone like that selling on their website....

Not really. The Coward was fucking around with Chris. Opened up complaints prematurely, stuff like that. Chris did fuck up, and The Coward does deserve restitution, but he's gotten that and more by now.

Most of Chris' customers are happy.

I concur, it would be good if Chris learned that his behaviour concerning this matter was unacceptable and that he has to do his part of the bargain, too, if he wants the money. However shutting down his Ebay isn't going to help. The only way to maybe make it stick is hitting his head over and over with this fact until it finally goes through his thick skull - and for that we would need Chris staying on Ebay...

It's optimistic to assume that even having it hammered into his skull would do it. Remember that every time he'd get an account deleted on a site, he'd just make another and resume the exact same things he was doing before. If his account was deleted on eBay, he'd just give it another go. And how many hundreds of Mailbag emails did he sift through where someone would chastise him for being fat and lazy, ignoring them completely without even giving them a second thought? He's resistant to any sort of negative reinforcement.

The thing is: As long as he keeps his old account, there is a slight chance he realizes what he has to do to make it stay that way. That's the best way to make him learn anything. Shitty behaviour = almost getting his account taken away (this happens like 4 times) -> conclusion: He tries to refrain from shitty behaviour. At least that's what I think.

The moment his account gets banned, he's just going "Looks like the trolls bullied me again. Hmmm Yeah." and that is when he won't think twice about what happened and make a new one without learning anything.

In a way, I even assume with one account that barely scratches by the banhammer for some time, he learns more than by going through 5 more jesusguidesme accounts that get instabanned in the same period of time.

But then again, I might be entirely mistaken. OPL works in mysterious ways after all.

I don't think there's enough business for 5 more accounts.
Looking through his feedback, Fatty appears to have made about 100 Sonichu sales.
How many more until he has completely saturated his market?
Frankly, I'd be surprised if he manages another 100 sales. His ebay career will be over before the summer comes, even with stellar behaviour on his part, simply because he'll run out of customers sooner rather than later.

I believe it's over 100 already. He's quickly approaching the 200 sale barrier where eBay starts reporting to the IRS. Since he's outside a trial work program, the fed will likely deduct some of that income from his SSDI. When that happens it'll pretty much put an end to his 'business'.

His ebay career has definitely hit its peak, one way or another. The fact is, he has a very limited customer base. It consists solely of a minority of the people on this forum willing to give some money in exchange for a christorical artifact. All things considered, it's not that many people.

You seem to think Chris is going to learn anything from this. Even now, with multiple case against him, Chris is blaming the customers and eBay. He does not see himself at fault in the least. Keeping cases open just to "teach him a lesson" is worthless.

Honest question, and remember that Vodka's involved and I've been out of the loop for a minute: Why the fuck would anyone pay their hard earned money for something that looked like their second grader did it? I'm being sincere.
It's awfulness is actually quite remarkable. I still think it's a waste, but whatever. People want to spend their hard-earned money, fine by me.

Their choice. I'm not one to judge, so if it makes one happy, far be it from my question to doubt their purchase. We're all good capitalists here lol

Exactly. Remember the mini-saga with Flipbook Hatena? He got banned. He couldn't be arsed to look into why he got banned because he was busy with, you know, stuff, and just created a new account. And got banned again. Trolls are his default reason for everything that goes wrong in his life. He believes in trolls the same way that conspiracy theorists believe in the Illuminati - that they're a mysterious force of unlimited resources and deviousness that secretly runs his world, and they're capable of doing anything. It's a useful belief, because it enables him to continue his existence as a blameless victim - if trolls did it, he doesn't have to give himself prickly-wicklies by considering that he might have been in the wrong.

tl;dr If he gets warned, he might just take it on board. If he gets banned, he'll assume it was everyone's fault but his own.

Sorry, have to disagree. I checked his ebay feedback and found about 100 Sonichu-related sales. Unless half his customers don't leave feedback, I doubt that he has made 200 sales.

Hm. If I happen to come across a lemonade stand run by kids selling overpriced shitty home-made lemonade, I'll buy a cup of lemonade off them even though it's overpriced and shitty. Just to be nice to some kids and to encourage them and to join in their game of playing at having a real job.

Might be some people buy Fatty's crap for the same or very similar reasons.

Might be some people feel the need to have some sort of tangible proof that Fatty really exists, a "christorical artifact" as someone put it.

Might be some people like to have a souvenir of the time they spent learning about and discussing Fatty's life.

Might be some people have pity for Fatty and his dire financial situation.

Might be some people impulse buy when drunk or stoned.

And that's all the reasons I can think of.

I got enough LOLs out of Sonichu for it to be worth a medallion, but I do also tend to buy weird crap every once in a while. Also, didn't someone here post a picture of a Sonichu drawing next to a John Wayne Gacy piece?
