If Narco wins the online finals held in Feb 9, that means a ticket to PAX East, and yes this is the same tournament Numbers lost at, different regions though so the only chance of they meeting is in PAX.

There are 2 more qualifiers, one Feb 16th and one March 9, so even if Narco loses these finals there are 2 more chances. This of course also applies to our boy Numbers, who is preparing for his second chance.

Hope to see them both in PAX.

I hope he qualifies. Seeing him in public at a high-profile tournament at a major gaming event would be fascinating and hilarious given that he hasn't left his room for like 3 years and won't be able to handle tourney pressure.

Twitch's TOS enforcement is arbitrary and they'll conveniently forget if it's for the sake of an event like PAX, and that's assuming they care enough to contact PAX and tell them because otherwise the TOs aren't going to care enough to fuck up their production for something so trivial.

The only banned Twitch streamer who's faced what you describe is Ice Poseidon, and that's because Twitch staff have an intense and personal hatred for him.

Actually, there was another streamer that got banned, a StarCraft player named Avilo, and streamers/tournament casters weren't allowed to talk about him, and any tournaments that included him couldn't have any reference to him on screen.

Though, true, Twitch might look the other way if it's something as big as PAX. We'll see.

Oh, this tournament. I was almost interested in joining it myself, but it's a super-casual setup. Items on, gimmicky stages, completely open to anybody over age 13, and online for a majority of the bracket. It's more of a goofy fun tournament than a serious venue like Genesis 6. At least there's a partial chance they might have to leave their home.
