tbh i would also like to see him somehow revert back into being a man but thats fucking unlikely since hes a speedrunner and all speedrunners have mental illnesses lmaoI sincerely hope this is somehow the first step to him recovering from this self destructive spiral, however unlikely this may be.
The only way to optimize the times under ACE is optimizing the inputs/methods of altering the memory that will contain the arbitrary code that will be executed when jumped to. Right now there's a lot of room to optimize altering the memory and probably a little less for the actual movement and things that need to be done. It probably will be a very niche comeback. Eventually it'll get to the point of wrong warp WR improvements being down to frames, but Cosmo could hold it for a while with rapid optimization if no one else can figure it out as quick. I don't see it standing for a year though, but I'll be optimistic and give it a few months at bestSo how long until someone uses "arbitrary code execution" to complete the game in 30 seconds? I dunno call me a cynic but this seems like a very, very niche "comeback".

Maybe, but this is kind of a DSP situation where it's funnier to pretend he's winning than to criticize him.So how long until someone uses "arbitrary code execution" to complete the game in 30 seconds? I dunno call me a cynic but this seems like a very, very niche "comeback".
Instead of rage-tweeting, this dude could be slamming back Soylent, trooning out, contemplating suicide, and trying to better his time.Salty speedrunner gets mad that Narcissa beat them out:

This kid is getting ~9:56 "WR" and is upset that Narcissa took the category. Very upset about the new ACE category, yet still runs it to try and get any%

The reason for the salt tweets? Contreversy over a potential physical notch on the N64 controller to control the angles for link during the ACE to prevent accidental deletion/crashes (unconfirmed if Narcissa does have a notch)

Rubber bands good! Notches bad!
I honestly think its amazing that glitching and exploiting a game for a faster time is seen as legitimate. Is there a speedrun ruleset for glitchless playthroughs?Who gives a shit how fast someone can glitch through a game made 20 years ago

From what I remember, Narcissa also created ZeldaSpeedRuns a website dedicated just to speedrunning
So earlier today Cosmo/Narcissa hijacked the ZSR (ZeldaSpeedRuns) domain name and pointed it to a gimped version of the site with his logo plastered on it (warning: he added autoplay music). Since he won't give up control, ZSR has been forced to move the content to new subdomain on speedrun.com.

Uh oh... This just popped up. What could this mean for our intrepid hero(ine)?
I can't believe Narcissa predicted this.
