I don't follow the minutiae of Cosmo that closely but what does he like about that game? Nobody cares about it, not even the "modern audience"

frey the niggette prolly & yep forspoken sucks even towards dei audiences. also he wants to be the only public world rekkie on the speedrun leaderboards to brag no one else can beat or bother on that specific game

Found a trove of now-deleted pre-Narcissa PBs from his YouTube on an old hard drive, circa 2012-2015 or so. This is my first time stepping foot in this thread, so I don’t know if they need to be archived for posterity or not. Also a boomer tard, so unsure how to post even if they’re helpful.

You could do something like upload them to a mega.nz folder if you don't want to be bother uploading them to youtube. Maybe even just post one or two to see if there is an interest. Cosmo is a cow long past his prime after all. There are also alternative video platforms like bitchute you can upload them to. An autist will probably get to them if you post a link. Just make sure to signup wherever you choose using a burner email.

A favorite of mine are MSN emails because they don't require a phone number, you can make two and use them to verify each other, and they don't get flagged like some alt email providers these days. MSN is still viewed as legitimate because it's Microsoft. Many places have blacklisted sites like Guerrilla Mail and 10minutemail, while I've started to have my Protonmail accounts get refused at online retailers.

The rise and subsequent collapse of GDQ affected the entire speedrunning community. There were lots of offshoots and grifters that popped up trying to imitate what GDQ did and made sure to check off every little box down to doing retard shit like displaying the pronouns of not only the person (man) running the game but also the idiots (also men) adding commentary or reading donations out. Now dumb shit like that has permeated every single event including the ones who seemed resistant to it like ESA.

Getting onto GDQ used to be a big deal for people looking to make a "thing" out of speedrunning and streaming on Twitch. At one point in time they were merit-based, meaning if you were good at Super Metroid but were only 9th place on the leaderboards and the guy who's 2nd also applied you're out of the running. Now it's the inverse. The #2 guy could apply, but if the #47 runner is a stunning and brave trans womxn he's getting accepted into GDQ and the objectively better person, whose skill is certainly more impressive to watch, isn't. People took notice of this and started jumping ship or just not tuning in anymore. I'd be willing to bet if you removed what are clearly astroturfed/sponsored/juiced donations from globohomo corps masquerading as real people the actual amount of money raised by GDQ these days would be a mere fraction of what it was genuinely able to do without any meddling. It's all a front, it's all a grift now. I'd say "it's unfortunate" but really I don't even give a shit anymore.

I will point out that BroTeam has been banned and unbanned from Twitch many times, more recently than Narcissa. I don't know how he keeps getting unbanned, but he does. Narcissa can probably get unbanned. The "please saar i am fucking indian" appeal be the secret glitch to ban appeals, just keep spamming them like you're an idiot and they just shrug and do it.

That’s because Twitch are softies, unlike Youtube and Tiktok, they practically let you get away with almost anything. Remember Alinity and what she did? That’s living proof!
