Humans have been asking themselves this question for thousands of years. Lamenting our primitive little species on our insane little world is the core of the human experience. Consensus seems to be split between
a) he got a girlfriend/became creepy obsessed with a woman who was an 90s style radfem and decided to turn his crappy webcomic into a cringy vehicle for her dogma to impress and appease her
b) he did...something. Something bad. Something bad involving women. Something that combined with a bunch of autismo mental problems drove him to desperately seek forgiveness and redemption at the feet of the most radically femnisty ideology he could find back in 2011, which was before either tumblr SJW shit or media/twitter #woke schtick came to power and prominence, thus why he settled on 90s style radfem shit and clung to it with the fanatical dedication of any penitent sinner looking to expunge his own sins by condemning everyone around him.
Personally I think option B is most likely, and that the "something" in question was probably some attempted groping or other low key sexual assault that wound up backfiring and getting him publically shamed in whatever corner of japland he inhabits, which combined with the autismo and probably some screwy japanese cultural codes on shame and honor or whatever resulted in him dedicating his life to redeeming himself in the most cringy and autistic way possible.

Taking us slightly OT, but I can attest that anything bad you hear about working for Disneyland is true. I've known folks who had cast member gigs and their tales are horrific.
