It was a fairly well-known problem, though I can't say how common it was. Just hiting OPTIONS to re-center the view didn't really work -- it would just re-center you based around the wrong orientation. You couldn't just face forward, hit OPTIONS, and have it totally re-calibrate -- it would just center the view assuming that having your neck turned to the extreme left or right was the correct default positon.

IGN looked into it and basically gave up, saying "Uhhh, maybe you should put the PSVR in a different room or something." Plenty of other people on Reddit and such had other homespun solutions, but none of them were all that effective for me. Restarting the PS4 was the only way to reliably eliminate the drift.

Suffice it to say, I am still kinda bummed about the whole affair and will absolutely not be touching the PSVR2 until it is confirmed to not have drift issues (and until it receives a pretty deep discount).

Based on the extremely passive-aggressive message from Nepenthe, I'd say they might be on the verge of reversing the ban in a limited fashion (allowing limited discussion like they did with Cyberpunk). Clearly they thought they could just nip the whole game in the bud with a sitewide ban, but now the people that asked for the ban can't stop talking about the game and thereby create more work for the jannies. These unpaid mods clearly hate the idea that their benevolence has only resulted in more hassle for them.

That said, I think it's also entirely possible that they will just cave-in completely, and allow anyone to talk about the game so long as they are bashing it. Maybe they will limit discussion to the Rowling Legacy of Hate thread or something.

It's clear that the current situation is untenable.

I's say they magnified the shitstorm by making those reetards go to other communities to rage about the game showing how mental they are rather than just raging in their own hugbox. Sent a lot of users to places like GAF who found out about things like pedo era that the mods had kept a lid on.

They have boosted sales of the game so much as a fuck you to those nutjobs far, far more than they did with Cyberpunk.

It's absolutely hilarious that the only people who seem to have trouble abiding by the Hogwarts Legacy ban are the ones that hated the game but now cannot stop talking about it. They've chosen to hide a thread for the Haters rather than actually deal with the fact that people want to talk about the game.

So much of the media coverage around the game has been weirdly focused on the idea of "Hey, look at these lunatics that don't even want you to mention the name of this game." Naturally it leaves people wondering what is so terrible about Hogwarts Legacy, and thinking maybe they should give it a try for themselves.

Only see each other once a month because a 40 minute journey (Or 20 if you meet mid way) is too much. Only talked "Pretty" regularly.

"Still friends" - yeah you'll still be fucking once a month.

It's a shame that all the effort he put into that relationship didn't work out, but the good news is now one of his secondary partners can get a promotion.

Funny thing about that, they just changed the black fist logo for black history month to the trans logo after around 8 days. Coincidentally a few hours before HL is officially released.
