NeoGaf also has an hard ban on any discussion of Tyler Malka's sexual assault of a girl in 2012, which is known because he boasted about it. So NeoGaf mods will participate in and champion this hardline "video games must be diverse" rhetoric and ban any dissenters. But the mods who were banning people who did not take this hardline male feminist stance and posting snarky ban messages about how horrible the person's views must be would be just as fast to ban anyone who brought up how un-feminist it was for Tyler Malka to grope a woman and brag about it afterwards.
As far as I'm concerned, any of that male feminist doggeral on NeoGaf should always be considered in the context of this actively enforced, albeit unwritten, rule.
