For the Anti-GG crowd, however, GG was Autism Vietnam - a conflict that they thought was going to be an easy victory and quickly turned into an unwinnable quagmire for them.

Their theory was that by breaking GG at the head, they could stop it. After all, it had worked on everyone else they'd done it on. The problem, of course, is that they clearly had no idea how the Streisand Effect worked: every single thing they did to stop GG didn't just fail - it made it bigger and harder for them to stop using their usual methods. It helped that to a man, they were fucking legendarily incompetent, surrounding lolcows and career fuck-ups like Brianna Wu and Zoe Quinn, who surrounded themselves with, impossibly, even bigger career fuck-ups.

Yet despite the fact that the Autism War ended pretty resoundingly in 2015, if you check any mainstream news site, there are literally articles on GG that came out within the last three days, and communities like NeoGAF/ResetERA never shut up about it. The reason is that for them, the loss is still fresh, and still hurts. For them it's the Autism Tet Offensive: The very first big loss which began their long, painful withdrawl from the region - and because of that, GG remains the thing they can't get over, a scar that's never healed.

Mat Piscatella was also (and still is) an obvious Nintendo shill. He works for NPD, but his job is mostly "how could I make Nintendo numbers look good". He even makes Twitch stream about it. Like most of those analysts, he's probably just paid by whatever company to promote their numbers in a good light, which might explain his recent admiration for Epic Game Store.

His biggest accomplishment is probably shilling hard for Nintendo Labo. He lead a ridiculous twitter/twitch/resetera campaign to sell Labo as the next "Wii" happening, before it was loud and clear Labo was a bomb.

Wow, massive disrespect to Voidpoint on behalf of 3DR. I really loved 3DR's efforts with publishing and supporting a game like Ion Fury but caving to this pressure makes them look like complete cowards, especially donating $10,000 to a shitty tranny charity and making them take something as degrading as "sensitivity training". Some people will demand more because they don't think you're sincere enough while the other side will pelt you with shit because you apologized. Meanwhile the devs themselves just wanted to make a video game while not being pestered by tards on either side.
