Seems he poked some fun at Resetera for the howling claiming PewDiePie basically shot up the mosque. Some verified games designer/dev is also saying he's alt-right with some fantastic supporting evidence.

One minute you have "sketchy views", the next minute you are massacring Jews. Hey, that rhymes. Someone should tell SkillUp to stick to reviewing video games and not killing people.

There are claims that he is alt right because he thinks Era goes too far in a lot of its more hyperbolic elements.

His brother is a little shit lordy, but I think its absurd to expect someone to disassociate with their brother.

I have never seen him express anything vaguely ACTUALLY alt right though, and as far as I have seen, I see him liking a lot of left wing progressive candidates tweets, and often seeing him express agreement with them.

I don't expect anyone to like him or anything, but I have noticed a tendency for some people to maybe over apply the term alt right, to anyone that isn't as explicitly dogmatic about their progressive politics. What makes it more confusing is that there are lots of leftists that reject this mode of critique as well, but people seem to ignore that reality.

Second, if you're looking for deep philosophy in a video game, the fare IS kind of limited so I'm curious to see where Death Stranding goes with this. The last game I played which had any kind of interesting philosophical discussion was The Talos Principle, which is a pretty fun if holy fuckballs hard puzzle game (seriously, it makes Portal and Portal 2 look easy at times).

I particularly delighted in how The Talos Principle was developed by Croteam. Their prior work? Serious Sam. Talk about a genre shift...
