In many ways, NeoGAF's implosion reminds me a lot of FFShrine's (attempted) Exodus after the Nyberg's constant fundraising and pedo revelations. But on a much more explosive fashion..

And like that other forum, I think that there is still a possible future for the board's existence, but it will become the unhip, unwanted place. Even more than it already is.

Because of the nature of progressive culture. As long as you are part of the group, you will be defended by people you don't even know about just because you are of that political persuasion. Its a hold-over from when progtards weren't the dominant force in culture.
