My favorite Social Justice "we literally have no idea how to interact with this game" response has to be fucking Bloodborne. Anyone can wear any outfit (including a man in a dress if you so desire), the game's extremely representative racially (and the protagonist is customizable) and there's basically no outright sexualized characters in it. But it's unrepentently brutal in its violence and dick-punchingly difficult, so they sort of let Bloodborne pass with only a mild "this game is too hard" whine-fest.
....Which makes it fucking hilarious when one remembers Bloodborne's story is rife with obsession, objectification, forcible pregnancy, torture, madness, relationship problems, rape, domestic abuse, violence against the elderly, violence by the elderly, an insane man taking out the source of his sexual frustration by beating her until she's a pile of meat with a gigantic wheel, countless oblique references to menustration and Djura, rest his stupid manly soul.
