Fucking hilarious how they regard a forum split as this big cataclysmic decision that needs "advisors" to "resettle" fucking vidya spergs that can sperg on vidya anywhere on the internet.

I can't say I'm surprised that ResetEra has a positive predisposition towards pedophilia, I guess.

There's a far easier explanation for this:

1. On the surface, they don't want to give "points" to the alt-right.
2. Deeper down though, they are too attached to the GoTG franchise and they don't want to quit watching it, or in left-parlance, they don't want to "Milkshake duck" it, but they are fucking children who can't just say that outright, hence #1.

If you need a reminder of the crime against humor that Colin Moriarty committed. Resulting in a soft industry blacklisting against him, and effectively becoming a person you're not allowed to talk about on ResetEra.

I love the whole "he put work in so he gets a pass" thing. Back when pewdiepie was getting dogpiled for supposed antisemitism, I asked someone who said that he "had to put work in to be forgiven" what would qualify as 'enough work.' He responded that he would know it when he saw it. The amount of work you have to do, and whether or not that work gets acknowledged at all, seems to be entirely based on how much you already adhere to the SJW doctrines. If you're someone they like you can do the bare minimum and be right as rain, but if you aren't nothing you ever do will make it up to them; we saw that very well with TB.

ResetEra and by extension a lot of the more left-leaning people calling for Gunn's rehiring are also against this because Cernovich used their own weapon against them in using purity culture and appealing to the higher-ups to get someone fired.

This is exactly what happened last year with Battlefront 2- EA would have launched the game with its microtransactions until people had the idea of pushing the story to soccer moms and other demographics that traditionally "see the manager." After that, Disney caught wind of what EA was doing with Star Wars and rumors suggest Bob Iger himself called EA's CEO and told him to take out the microtransations with hours to spare before launch.

Although one additional characteristic that is missing from the list is member recruitment. ResetERA does not appear to be putting much effort by members to bring new members in.
