Why is it specifically a problem with the gaming community? I'd like to see one community where they don't think is problematic, even the few places that they can tolerate being in like Resetera is too problematic in their own words.

I like how they emphasize that staff are volunteers. They do it for free.
These idiots actually think that the fact people do something for free is a good thing. HINT YOU MORONS: if someone is doing something for free they have an ulterior motive. I feel like a part of the support for gay marriage came from people who just got tired of hearing about it and said "yeah whatever, do what you want just shut up." But after they got what they had spent decades fighting for they seem to just want more and more. I don't really know anyone who vehemently hates da homos but most people are just so tired of everything catering to less than 5% of the population.
Honorable mention to that Eurogamer Facebook post where people commenting that they don't want gaming "news" to be political are met with snarky gifs from the EG page.
