What the hell happened on May 23rd? There's a spike in "bad faith" bans, and from then on the ban rate goes higher than the warned rate.
All I can find in the thread reeing at Valve for saying they weren't going to ban games any more, reeing about people not liking the Battlefield V trailer, celebrating that Omega Labyrinth Z was banned, and there was a thread complaining about hive mind moderation. ie. So far as I can tell, their racist scheme is that since blacks are all violent criminals, if they had guns, they'd all immediately go out and start shooting cops, who are all white, until the authorities would be forced to enact gun control.

There's some sort of meme out there that gun control in its modern form was only invented when '60s black power groups started arming black people, and The Man leapt to keep guns out of their hands. Like all revisionist memes I take it with a grain of salt (since I don't know the history myself), but I think that's what they're going for here.

That's totally true, without looking it up I want to say Ronald Reagan had some thing to do with it when he was Gov. of California, and the Black Panthers were showing up out in front of Govt. buildings protesting while armed with rifles. Cue freak-out and crack down on open carry in the state.

He became a Democrat in 1962, so he was a Republican in 1967 when all that happened.

Also, gun laws go back way before 1941, in fact to before there was a United States. They were just at the state level. It was fairly routine to ban certain populations from owning guns, like free blacks or Catholics.

There was a thread about a study that most cis people won't date trans people. Saying you won't date a trans person was grounds for a ban.

There are some suspect threads, like the thread about High Guardian Spice being announced. That was the crunchroll "original anime" that is a calarts/Tumblr fanart made real. And Attack Helicopter Dating sim was mentioned on the forum.

There was also some clickbait Kotaku article about how Dark Souls is sexist, but I doubt that would result in many transphobia bans.
