Ehh, Jason Schreier's sort of right. Not about the whole "stop being meanies to the people who DIE so you can have fun!", but rather, the fact that getting mad at a company for how it chooses to distribute its resources is just silly. If they think a shitty p2w mobile game is going to make them more money than a Diablo 4, feel free to prove them wrong by not purchasing it. Acting like a child and throwing a temper tantrum over not getting what you wanted for Christmas (Blizzcon) is fucking laughable.

It's yet another instance where these major game publishers take a shit on their most loyal fans. One of his attacks is a callback to Fire Attack, a little LCD handheld in the 80's where you're a cowboy/sheriff/marshall defending a wooden log fort from indians trying to burn it down.

I guess the butthurt is that he isn't "native american" all the time, it's just putting on the culture as a prop(which we know always offends these faggots) or gag, unlike T. Hawk from Street Fighter. And it's an unflattering aspect of native american, that of an angry savage defending his dusty homeland from colonial expansion & Manifest Destiny.

It's hilarious because while people are whining about Game and Watch's Native American Racism which is a literal 2 frame animation, I'm caring about what matters which is that he has new attacks and one of his specials now actually reflects non energy based projectiles (The Oil Panic would absorb things like Mario's Fireballs and Samus' Charge Shots and you could dish out a powerful attack with it, but things like Snake's explosives and Link's arrows would just hit you.)

You wanna know what is racist and actually offensive? Team Fortress 2 had a set for Heavy that had to be altered because it originally had an item that was based on a Peyote Cactus and they didn't want to have the idea of "A drug fueled trip becomes a killing spree" be an issue with players. So they turned it into a cartoonishly designed steak instead.

I actually had a Guatemalan friend tell me that Speedy is considered a really positive stereotype down there, since he takes care of his family, he fights against the man, he tends to out-think his enemies as opposed to brute forcing them, and he knows how to party. This prompted me to look into it myself, and... Yeah, he's absolutely right.

I'm kind of reminded about them bitching about how offensive Punch-Out was, when every boxer in it talks fluently in their native language with the correct grammar and slang even, and it makes fun of every fucking stereotype on the planet. It's absolutely loving in its homages to each boxer's point of origin and people like the tards of ResetEra just don't see it.
