One of the best ways to combat trolling is to post ideas they can use.

I thought one of the biggest complaints was the game didn't have NPCs? Shows how much attention they pay to this.

So a teenager did something in a videogame = his friend being belted and not given building permits. I think he might be reaching a bit there.

More broadly, I'm consistently surprised that there's 30 somethings that don't realise they are 30 somethings. That "the kids these days" are doing all this edgelord stuff specifically to piss off the grump old men like ResetEra. They don't seem to realise that they are now the same "out of touch" "uncool" adults they grew up with who were complaining that rap music and GTA would turn people into killers.

Older millenials still like to pretend that they are the youth because they have terminal peter pan syndrome and because they know that current teenagers are probably a little more edgy than they otherwise would be because it upsets the sensibilities of the older generations (them). They can't claim to be on the right side of history when the generations younger than them are rejecting their beliefs. Mark my words, you'll see people who are in their thirties now still pretending to be young and cool well into their sixties in unprecedented numbers.

You know what I do to protect myself from hostile edgelords in super buggy shitty MMOs?

I don't play shitty MMOs. And if for some reason I want to play a game with hostile edgelords, I mute or block them or something. Or turn off other player's talk. And if I can't do any of those things, it must be a super buggy shitty game, so I don't play those.

Of course, that's basic capitalism, A.K.A the worst thing in the world. It's only OK if the government forces EVERYONE not to buy it.
