Absolutely. I hope gaf never actually manages to grow beyond what it is these days because Malka doesn't deserve it. People need to remember he had complete authority over the website and was directly responsible for it devolving into a shit hole. He could have put an end to it before it ever became a problem.
Also I've always wondered if the website was actually making a lot of money during that period. I could swear I remember traffic started heavily dropping off for years once the loonies started to take control of the website. Either way all it would prove is how much of a shit business person he is. Anyone with a hint of foresight could tell you a website built on 10% of the users calling the other 90% misogynistic racists and constantly ban baiting them would eventually lead to the death of the forum, his pathetic #metoo only sped up the process.

Let’s also recall that it was Malka himself who doxxed a member deliberately in starting a thread to ridicule him for basically asking, at the peak of Gamer Gate, to maybe just abolish the political shit and end the dogpiling of views that didn’t conform to the college radical handbook.

It is a circumstance where the victory is so total that you can hardly feel good about it.
The way to stop being a lolcow is to gain self awareness and realize that maybe people are mocking you because you are being foolish and perhaps you need to change your actions.
