Now, now, they can't be racist. They're on the right side of history, after all. They just want to make sure every black poster knows their place, which is beneath their troon masters. And that if they have any complaints about that or ever challenge them, then they're being too rude and disrespectful and have to be banned because they don't know how to behave around their betters - who are more enlightened about what should be considered racist anyway.

Sure is strange all these people who definitely aren't terrible at videogames suddenly really, really cared about "accessibility" only upon the release of this videogame they couldn't beat. All the thousands of videogames that came out before it and not even a peep from these people but now it's the most important thing in the world and fuck developer intent.
What a bizarre, unexplainable coincidence.
All videogames need to have 5 different difficulty levels regardless of how much extra time and resources the developers need to spend implementing them just like how all movies should come with subtitles in every single language. Fuck target demographics and trying to make a profit off your product, just make it appeal to everybody, regardless of the cost. THAT'S WHAT WE'RE OWED.

As someone who doesn't play From Software's stuff because I prefer a more slow paced and casual experience in my games nowadays, I also feel that these people are fucking dumb. Not everything is for everyone. Somehow it's fine for Reeetards to delcare movies and tv shows "aren't for cis white men" but when it's turned around they act like they're being kept from playing these games at gunpoint.
Either practice and get better at the game, watch a Let's Play, or play one of the thousands of other games. There are more games to play now than a person could ever play in their lifetime, you're not being oppressed by 6 of them being too difficult for you.

I do think From should add difficulty options to the menu... and have them do jack squat.
Hilarious how they try to frame it as "accessibility," as if they're all stuck in wheelchairs with CP. (y'know, cerebral palsy. We know they dont consider the other CP to be an affliction worth addressing)
And to be fair, this is not at all the first time theyve bitched and moaned about a game being too hard with no difficulty option. It happens pretty much every time a game like that comes out. I think they even were doing it back on GAF.

Not only that, it's pretty clear that the reason the game has been so positively received is specifically how the combat plays out. If you shift the difficulty down and make the game "win the fight by mashing buttons", it wouldn't be the game they heard all the good stuff about in the first place.

Yeah, I'm all for letting developers make the game they want. Resetera and Twitter Bluechecks hate the argument, but.. it's right? The souls games are only as big as they are, and thus popular enough that these morons want to play them, because the challenge is there. Without it, they'd be mediocre hack and slash games.
