I have no secret inside Discord knowledge but I really don't think that even the TransEra group actually likes Excelsiorlef, or that anyone does. More like they just tolerate Larry because it's too much work if you set him off.

GAF leaned far to the left prior to Showergate but ResetERA has taken that ideology to a whole other level which makes it all the more fascinating to watch. It's still odd to me that after the forum heist of the century, Cerium let the inmates run the asylum instead of rooting out the lunatics at first sign of trouble. Cerium was part of PoliGAF, which was the hive of deranged YAS QUEEN lunatics who destroyed NeoGAF and are now destroying Resetera. He wanted all those people for the cause, which was avenging Hillary Clinton's stolen election. A lot of the privileged white males on GAF or Asians in Ceriums case, donated a lot of money to or worked for Hillary Clinton (Y2Kev). They're still assmad she took all their money to get richer and still lost.
Word is Cerium and some others were planning a new forum before GAF sank as they felt Nintendo GAF was being persecuted. This explains the large bias on Resetera for Nintendo faggotry that goes well beyond simply liking gaming on a Nintendo Switch. Tyler's private life destroying his forum was just the perfect timing for them to get their new forum launched.
As part of that launch Cerium gave part share ownership to a few influencers and "insiders" who became admins. They thought Resetera could explode to the peak NeoGAF levels of influence in the gaming industry. It was all about making money and you need a large userbase to do that. The crazies on NeoGAF were the ones who wanted to leave to show how woke they were when Tyler got metoo'd #BelieveHer.
All of these admins have since sold their shares back to Cerium and ran away from Resetera. It became clear early on forums would never be as popular as peak NeoGAF ever again and Resetera will literally destroy your brand, image or career because the userbase is literally insane and as we see now all the mods are pedophiles. Most are the absolute worst choices you could make from the nuthouse.

I never involved myself in Poli-GAF so I'm not familiar with Cerium. Gaming forum aren't my go-to for political discussion. I still think it's surprising he hasn't tried to stop the user base hemorrhaging by culling some of the far left psychopaths. You could probably make that forum tolerable by removing hundred or so of the more militant leftist and bring in a new mod team. But maybe the effort isn't worth the money, or is Cerium is part of the militant left? Or is he just asleep at the wheel like the Elf?
I guess I should be grateful to GAF for pointing out that a youtuber wanked on stream which is how I found this place.

Cerium believes in the majority of what they say, although as a successful Capitalism loving Asian, he's never been quite the fan of going full unhinged woke unemployed tranny and coming across like an inbred psychopath. He knows to make money he can't behave like excelsiorlef.
He understands that the loudest on his forum will never make anything out of their life, but their insane woke attitude can be exploited for money in 2017-2020 because it draws a crowd and they will do it morning to night for free. You don't need to pay the inmates on Resetera to live in your forum, they'll do it for free and in many cases even pay you (EraClear).
Same goes for the moderators. He exploits them to handle the inmates whilst he does nothing. Most forums work this way, but many mods on normal forums enjoy having fun. The Resetera staff are never happy, never sleep and burn out quicker than Volimar is now burning the hard drives his child porn is on.
Cerium isn't militant left, he's somewhat woke and he went full YAS QUEEN, but he's a privileged Asian with a lot of money in his family who doesn't really need to care about TransEra mass shitting themselves every time someone watches Netflix on Resetera.
It's always been about making money for him and now that the inmates disrespected him during their troon genocide, he's fully insulating himself from it happening again whilst still being able to take the money they generate. I think he knows he was very close to another forum mass exodus in 2019 and he doesn't want what happened to Tyler Malka which was the gaming industry putting his name in headlines like "NeoGAF owner Tyler Malka is #metoo'd, forum users leave". Such as "Resetera owner Isamu Fukui accused of transphobic hate speech and violence, forum users leave".
Now no matter what happens to Resetera, including an FBI raid for pedophilia, Cerium/Isamu Fukui is scrubbed from ownership/admin status. B-Dubs is the fall guy now and that is hilarious because of his posting history on NeoGAF writing any story that might be needed in the months to come.
The inmates had nowhere else to go last year, no one with the money like Cerium had to get a forum together in a matter of weeks. So they had to make do with shitting all over their own forum and getting Royalan lynched to appease them. Oh and Ketkat unbanned even although Cerium had proof Ketkat was sharing private staff conversations to TransEra.
They're all trapped in this asylum with nowhere else to call home and now they can't even hold their actual owner to account as Cerium doesn't exist anymore. He's a ghost. The mods now banning everyone normal for 1-3+ months is an attempt at appeasing the inmates to stop B-Dubs failing. We'll see how that works, especially now Operation B-Dubs is public.
