NeoGAF & ResetERA - The Hilarious N̶e̶v̶e̶r̶e̶n̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ Splintering "Gaming" Forum Circus

Well as much fun it is for me to make fun of ResetEra, I do pity many of its users.

The thing is that these people only joined the forum is because they were promised with a place of being inclusive and not being judgemental despite much of the insanity that goes on in ResetEra on a regular basis.

It's the same reason why people join cults because cults prey on people feeling down and sell innocent people a lie that something better awaits them and seeing them acting suicidal is no surprise because cults like to use negative reinforcement to keep their members in line and obedient too.

So as much fun it is for me to make fun of ResetEra, we have to remember that many of the ResetEra users are victims that they're even part of this cult to begin with and usually the only way for people to leave a cult is for the voice of reason to get to them eventually.

one thing i like about here is we all realize we are huge retarded assholes, I can admit i'm a piece of black shit some of the time,my issue with Ree is that they think they are 100% right and the other side is 100% wrong. Tbh the moment I realized there was nothing wrong with being a black liberal who questioned shit, was the moment I felt I could express myself better. I'd rather be on a site where i can be called a disgusting nigger then be on a site where i'm called the same thing but in nicer hidden terms, if that makes sense.

Ree doesn't allow different think. I really hope they realize that and get help, because I'd hate to see someone hurt themselves. I feel a lot of them feel alone, they read Ree and think all is lost but it's not. These fucking echo chambers aren't healthy at all.
it genuinely bothers me to see all the suicide bait that gets posted there.

I'm completely aware of the fact that when I point and laugh at ResetEra, a member of that forum could say "but you post on Kiwi Farms!", however, I'm just here to laugh at extremists and almost all of the biggest lolcows are far-left nutjobs. I'm a moderately left-leaning person who thinks that a lot of people who are further left than me have gone fucking insane in recent years and ResetEra is a shining example of that in action. Moderators being assigned based on their oppression levels. People being publicly shamed via suspension and ban messages. Crazy levels of groupthink and echo chamber bullshit. Identity politics being taken to the nth degree. Fuck that noise.

Era seems like it would make a great Anthony Burch-type forum where depressed people thinking about killing themselves can visit and click on any random thread and think to themselves "well shit no matter how bad my life gets at least I'm not [insert Era poster(s) here]"

Back in management school, one of our case studies of bad management practices was a production line at a food processing plant that was making potato chips. Workers were getting fired left and right, for anything and everything, which caused morale to drop, so workers would act out and get fired, and morale would plummet even more, until workers were smuggling sharpies into work and writing "FUCK NIGGERS" on random potato chips right before they went into the bags.

Anyone know why the archivers for the resetera ban tracker aren't working? it gives <nil> instead of a proper link.
