Just thinking about how all of this could've been avoided if people knew how to not sperg out.

Even if you don't like the mix it up ad, even if you don't want to play anymore because of it, you can just say "i don't like this so I'm not buying the game and will excuse myself from threads about it" not that you even have to say anything at all. It's so fucking minor, it's so nothing. They are going to bitch and moan about the neogaf photoshop contest but that wouldn't happen if they just knew how to express themselves and didn't throw a shit fit.

Yeah. On the other hand I think the librarian was convicted from murder. I don't remember well but I think the guy was a creep and he killed 1 or 2 people. Maybe someone can get story right.
EDIT: my bad, the guy talked about kidnapping and killing people. It's some kind of kink or shit.

Yeah but unlike other forum admins who have lazily let cancer gestate and then metastasize in the past (hi Lowtax), he actually stopped cucking at some point and took his forum back from the crazies. He gets some slack for at least partly repairing the damage.

A little more than talking about it. He got sentenced to 15 years for literally conspiring to kill and eat women. That's more than talking about it. He was planning on doing it with another person and took concrete steps toward doing it.

Matthew77 is always the spergiest and angriest one in any discussion. He has the air of a generally unpleasant IRL person. We're always going to express ourselves differently when we're online because of the (admittedly false) anonymity. But you can't be THAT mad on the Internet without something wrong with you.

Also there is a difference between "fighting for your community" and getting paranoid about every noise and shadow a company makes, to the point where you rally up a crowd to ruin a game for everybody else.

Yes, what discussion? That they are mad about a video game that is too big to cancel? Because of what, a couple of old Twitter jokes? How do you prolong a 'discussion' about that, other than getting angrier over more to nitpick?

The Farms doesn't have an exclusive conversation about Era, either. The entire Internet has noticed and will readily talk about them—because they are annoying, they bully, they tweet bomb, they fit every SJW stereotype, and they have a bigger ban count than Something Awful. And it draws attention. Maybe KF is the only one documenting them on a day to day basis, but honestly, how can you not? They are a traffic pileup.
