I think it's more of finding a balance is the problem the 'Nice Guy' crowd has. It's kind of tough displaying 'douchebag' charisma when others don't see you like that based on your personality. I can understand their gripe from that long winded 4chan post, but sometimes you have to change our outer appearance to actually be considered worth something taken seriously.

If that's not what he meant, he chose his words very poorly. You can remove the drinking part of it completely and it still sounds very creepy... There's a few other popular songs that have a "nice guy" vibe running through them, but, it's debatable if the songs are trying to lionize the nice guy who never wins, or trying to subtly show his hypocrisy and unwillingness to take a hint.

"Don't You Want me" by Human League is the one that immediately jumps to mind as a possible nice guy anthem..... but, that's from all the way back in the 80's, so it's not like it's anything new.

Well to me this kinds makes sense in a evolutionary type of way.

Female sleeps around to get attractive genes from Chads to ensure her offspring will be attractive with higher chances of survival/reproduction due to Thundercock genes but the issue/problem is that since Chads have ready and easy access to quality females they're unlikely to a good provider for her offspring as he doesn't really need the female once she's pregnant and is very likely to move onto another female once he's done plowing the fields.

So said female then goes and find a male who will be a good provider for her and her offspring, but one that she can tie down and ensure her and her offspring will be cared for.

So Chads get lots of sex and no responsibilities and "betas" get all the responsibilities with only sloppy seconds.

I myself always was kind of a dick to woman but never suffered for it; finding someone to play hide the pickle was always pretty easy but some of my friends who stuck to the older traditions of "gentlemanly ways" never seemed to see much action until after they hit their 30's and then it was always women looking for long term shit deals. Stereotypes exist for a reason my Daddy used to say...

The thing is that beta males invented birth control and now women use birth control with Chad so as a result Chad has no offspring. The invention of the birth control pill was the real beta uprising and it was an amazing success. Chad isn't interested in seeing his children so he is biologically none the wiser that he is currently an evolutionary dead end
