What's with these Nice Guys asking for nudes right out of the gate? I didn't start seeing that until recently.

The contrast is hilarious though. They go right from lonely otaku uwu to thirsty Pajeet asking"are you fucked at night? sned milki bobs and big harny vegana pic n i send u my 1 feet pinus" in the same paragraph.

They don't see women as women, they see them as NPCs (possibly in a dating sim). Hence why a lot of them backpedal when they have offended m'lady. They think they can load up the previous save file and go from the beginning like nothing happened.

I get it, video games are fun and some can be time consuming but if you're trying to live out your life as if it's a game where you can pick up from previous checkpoints because it didn't go how you wanted it to, you need to get out more.

Hell there's a character in Animal Crossing that says you can do that in game but not in real life. A GAME IS MORE AWARE THAN THEY ARE. A GAME FOR KIDS.

Not to mention many women aren't willing to risk harassment and retaliation for even a true rape or sexual assault allegation, to say nothing of a false one. That shit does happen and it ranges from unpleasant to dangerous. Sex crimes are some of the most under-reported crimes for a reason.

So while they do happen, and they are very problematic when they do, people claim that allegations are false far more frequently than they are and far more frequently than for other crimes. From where I am I see more people questioning a rape report, due to the allegation being very serious and potentially damaging for the accused should it be fabricated or the accused turns out to be the wrong person (through loss of memory or smth) among other reasons, than flat out not believing it. Believing in innocent until proven guilty isn't necessarily disbelief.

However i think a lot of people get "more visibility" mixed up with "this is happening a lot". Sure, false rape accusations, like mattress girl, are becoming more public because it's a genuinely awful thing to do that should carry a worse charge (especially with today's "public opinion jury" which decides if you're guilty or not regardless of evidence). It's like transgender people. Despite people being more open about it now, they're still a VERY small percentage of the population. However due to the noise made about the topic, it seems bigger than it is.

Despite false rape reports not being an "epidemic" does not mean that it should stop anyone from questioning people who come forward with such big accusations. You wait for evidence to back up a claim, and then see what comes up. The fact that it's a more visible thing now is a good thing (because it does actually happen at the end of the day)- just because it's not a larger scale issue does not mean that it isn't something to consider in any accusation, and it shouldn't be off the table in any investigation unless there is evidence to support the claim. I'm not saying to flat out refuse to believe someone, but to look at the evidence and look at every angle before jumping to conclusions.
