It seems less like he truly wants to know whether his behavior was creepy and more like what he seeks is for others to tell him "Of course not. Why would you think that for one moment?"
Here's the thing though: whether random folks on the web believe that the way he acted was just fine and dandy doesn't matter. What matters is that the girl wasn't okay with it. And I'd say she's the one who gets to decide whether or not she put up with a classmate whose behavior was making her feel horribly uncomfortable.
