I think it's much more likely that Nick say, coordinated with Ty to get the video depositions, expedited, to share on stream, and that was paid out of the IOLTA, than say Ty was giving Nick a kickback. Ty may not be the Sun Tzu he thinks he is, but I'm not sure he's even that bad to fuck with an IOLTA.

Perhaps it's being conflated, along the lines above; perhaps Monty has extraordinary evidence even. An extraordinary claim such as this requires extraordinary evidence.

This is one of the reasons is such a fuckup of a man, a 43 year old who never got over or matured past high school. Nick has never been financially responsible for anything in his life, has never struggled for anything except Aaron's goo, has never had the burden of worrying about how to pay the mortgage. His Mom just pays him to pretend to be a functional adult, and he can't even do that.

I am well aware of the fact that Monty is "out there." I have acknowledged that several times now. Indeed, I will even go as far as to say I think he suffers from Schizophrenia. I have, on one or more occasion, compared him to Terry A. Davis.

My point here though is that, in the pantheon of "crazy shit Monty has said," the idea that there might have been something untoward with the GFM/IOLTA isn't really "out there" compared to a lot of other crazy shit he's said. That theory pre-dates Monty by some time, and has been suggested by people more well-adjusted than Monty.

Nor am I impressed with the idea it couldn't have happened because it would have constituted a breach of professional ethics.

TL;DR: I am not saying it happened. I am just saying I don't believe it's impossible it could have happened.
